Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Goshen Farm in Aiken, SC. This is only a couple miles from the church where Kaitlyn’s parents wed in 1994 and where her late paternal grandfather, Reverend C. David Laird, Jr., pastored for many years before his retirement.

The ceremony will begin promptly at half past four in afternoon, and it is requested that guests arrive fifteen to thirty minutes prior. Following the ceremony, there will be a social hour for all guests where hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served while the wedding party takes portraits nearby. Once complete, dinner and dancing will follow.

We have opted to enjoy an unplugged ceremony. We kindly request all cell phones and cameras to be put away as we exchange vows and enter into the covenant of marriage in front of our family and friends. We have hired a highly talented group of professionals to capture our ceremony and promise we will share their work with you following our big day. Please feel free, however, to capture any and all photos before the ceremony and at the reception and be sure to share them with us! #SheFoundHerGroomes

Cocktail attire is requested, although the comfort of our guests is most important. Ladies are invited to wear cocktail dresses. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear slacks, with suit or sport coat preferred but optional. Weather permitting, our ceremony will take place outdoors so please dress accordingly.
