Haley and Hunter met in the Spring of 2024 in Hendersonville, North Carolina. The two continuously crossed each other’s paths over the past three years while they were working – but the timing just was not right yet. After both faced significant hardships in their lives, God ensured that Haley and Hunter’s paths would not only cross but rather become intertwined.&nbsp;In late February of 2024, Hunter reached out to Haley, engaging in small talk over the phone. Haley was reluctant towards getting to know another man at first, but time has a funny way of changing things. After a few weeks, Haley decided to visit Hunter at work one night. Since Haley was still a bit hesitant about getting close to someone again, she told Hunter that her sole reason for coming to see him that night was to see if he had any golf clubs for her and her friends to play putt-putt with… okay that may have been&nbsp;slightly&nbsp;true, but hey, she still hung around after Hunter said he did not have any golf clubs!&nbsp;Texts, phone calls, and spontaneous work visits led to Haley and Hunter opening up their hearts to the idea of a first date. In March, they had their first date in Forest City, North Carolina. Many dates and conversations later, they began officially dating on April 9th, 2024, right before Haley flew across the world to Croatia on April 10th. Upon her return, the two picked up right where they left off and throughout the next year they continued to build a relationship built on a foundation of love, trust, respect, and forgiveness.&nbsp;Hunter proposed to Haley on March 29th, 2025, on a vacation to Charleston, South Carolina. This was Haley’s first visit to Charleston – Hunter’s hometown! That morning, Hunter told Haley he wanted to take her to Folly Beach to watch the sunrise. While the two were walking along the shoreline, as the sun crested the sky, Hunter dropped to one knee and asked the million-dollar question. In a state of shock and pure, overwhelming happiness, Haley said YES!&nbsp;Haley and Hunter’s love continues to grow for one another with each passing moment. The happy couple cannot wait to celebrate their special day with you!

Andrew has been a close friend of Haley’s for the past three years, ever since they partnered up on her very first patrol team. Since then, he’s been a constant source of support, laughter, and the occasional eye-roll-worthy dad joke. Known for his quick wit and soft spot for his cats, Andrew brings both humor and heart to everything he does. He’s honored to help celebrate Haley and Hunter as they begin this next chapter together.

Aubrey is the loving mother of two beautiful daughters, Eva and Ivy, and shares her life with her boyfriend Eddye and their three loyal dogs. She is also the supportive sister of Haley, always putting others first and creating a warm, nurturing environment for those she cares about.

Hannah is a proud mother to her adorable baby boy, Albie, and a devoted wife to her husband, Dillon. Together, they care for four dogs and tend to a growing collection of plants. She and Haley have been best friends since 2009, when they were in 7th grade, and their bond continues to strengthen with each passing day.

Makenna and Haley became friends in the most unexpected way and they’ve grown close over the past three years. She’s a proud and loving mom to a beautiful daughter and is married to her awesome husband, Logan. Makenna is hilarious, refreshingly honest, and never afraid to speak her mind, which is one of the many reasons Haley loves having her by her side.

Zach and Hunter first crossed paths back in 6th grade and went to school together all the way through high school. While they weren’t close during those years, they shared mutual friends and a familiarity that laid the groundwork for something more. It wasn’t until the spring of 2020—during the early days of college and all the challenges that came with it—that their friendship truly began. Since then, they’ve built a strong bond rooted in shared experiences and showing up for each other when it matters most.

Randy and Hunter met on the very first day of Paramedic school, finding themselves seated side by side in the back row of the classroom. As the program progressed, so did their friendship. In 2022, during a particularly difficult time in Hunter's life, Randy became a steady presence—someone who had faced similar challenges and could offer perspective and support. Since graduating in December 2023, the two have been EMS partners, forming a team known as much for their camaraderie as for giving their supervisor a well-earned patch of gray in his beard.

Hunter met Isaiah during Hunter’s BLET in the fall of 2023, and what started as a professional connection quickly grew into a solid friendship. Long night shifts riding with Isaiah, shared stories, and a mutual love for law enforcement forged a bond that stuck. Whether it’s SWAT Training, ride-alongs, or blowing off steam at Topgolf, these two know how to have a good time—and you can bet there’s usually a Michelob Ultra (or three) involved when we’re not on duty! Loyal, laid-back, and always ready with a good laugh, Isaiah’s been a ride-or-die ever since day one of this friendship.

Eva is the daughter of the Maid of Honour, Aubrey, and niece of Haley. She is full of spunk and definitely gets her attitude from the women in her family!

As we celebrate this new chapter in our lives, we will carry the memory of our beloved son, Talon, with us. While Albie will serve as the ring bearer, Talon will be with us in spirit as our honorary ring bearer. Albie will wear special symbols of Talon’s life and memory as he delivers the rings, a heartfelt tribute to the love and joy Talon brought to our lives.
