It All Started With A Wink

On a freezing cold evening around Christmas time (December 22nd, 2018 to be exact!), both Hunter and I were out with each our friend groups at a local bar in Evansville, IN. Around 10:30 pm, I went to grab a drink, and as I looked across the room, I caught a glimpse of a face that I would never forget. Not knowing what came upon me in the slightest, I looked him dead in the eyes and WINKED AT HIM. Knowing I had never done that before in my entire life, my mouth dropped at the fact of what just happened, and he flipped around to see what lucky person I was throwing a wink at across the room, only to find it was him. We both smiled and then went on our own way. Later on that night as we saw each other in passing, Hunter grabbed my hand and asked me if I would like to dance with him. I of course said yes, and the remainder of that night, we spent talking, laughing and learning about each other's lives and everything in between. Before we knew it, it was 6:00am!!! Everything was just so easy, and neither of us had ever experienced anything like we had that night. We spent the next couple of days/weeks (I was in Myanmar for a mission trip) on FaceTime for hours and hours, and even then, we would wonder where the time went when we were spending it together. Flash forward.. We were both living in Evansville at the time, and around March it came time for Hunter to have to apply for jobs as his one-year internship was coming to a close. Hunter accepted a job in Conway, Arkansas at the University of Central Arkansas, which meant we would now be long-distance (6.5 hours). Hunter and I traveled to see each other probably more than we should have, but knowing I would graduate that fall was comforting and gave us a date to shoot for! Long-distance sucked. It was definitely a lonely season and was easy to get discouraged. However, once my graduation day came in December, I was ready to close that chapter and start the next... I moved to Arkansas the day after! Since then, living 6 minutes apart as opposed to 6 hours has been nothing but amazing for us and has left us resting assured that our love for each other has only gotten stronger day by day. The day Hunter proposed, he was all sorts of freaked out. He is already high-strung, but he was all of that on steroids and I could not figure out what was wrong with him. All that I knew was that we would be having a photoshoot that night, and that he really didn't even want to go anyway! Come to find out, he had the ENTIRE night planned out for a picnic, champagne toast, a party, and a PERFECT RING!!! We are so excited to finally be united as one and are stoked for you all to join us in celebration.

Silver Dollar City is an amusement park in the US state of Missouri. Opened on May 1, 1960, the park is located between Branson and Branson West off of Missouri Route 76 on the Indian Point peninsula of Table Rock Lake. The park is an 1880s-themed experience that fits Branson's vision as a family-friendly vacation destination with down-home charm. Silver Dollar City's operating season runs from mid-March until late December, with the park closed during the months of January and February. Silver Dollar City is owned by Herschend Family Entertainment.

The Titanic Museum Attraction is a museum located in Branson, Missouri on 76 Country Boulevard. It is one of two Titanic-themed museums owned by John Joslyn; the other is located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The museum holds 400 pre-discovery artifacts in 20 galleries. Guests step through the artificial iceberg into the museum, and receive a passenger boarding ticket, featuring the name of an actual Titanic passenger and the class on which the passenger traveled. During the tour, guests learn the individual stories of several passengers. At the end of the tour, guests are told whether their ticket holder survived. Like the museum of Pigeon Forge, the museum's main exterior visual feature is the partial mockup of the original ocean liner. The construction consists of the front half of the ship, including its first two funnels. In a 2017 episode of the Travel Channel series, Ghost Adventures, Zak Bagans and the crew investigated the museum due to claimed paranormal activities that were apparently traced to actual relics from the shipwreck.

Talking Rocks Cavern is a cavern system located in Stone County, just west of Reeds Spring, in Branson West, in the U.S. state of Missouri. It is privately owned by Herschend Family Entertainment, and operated by Adventure Creations Inc., as a public entertainment/educational attraction. Guided cave tours are offered at regular intervals throughout each day. Tours take approximately one hour and lead to the floor of the cave, by way of 150 steps going down and 115 steps coming up. There are numerous formations to be viewed up close, including "cave bacon", "curtain", stalagmites, and stalactites. The vertical nature of the cave allows the growth of a formation called "The Cathedral", which is a flowstone and drapery mineral deposit that is approximately 90' tall, and 50' in diameter. The temperature in the cave remains an average 63 degrees throughout the year. The entrance to the cave is accessed through an entrance inside the Rock and Gift Shop. As there is no outside access, there are no bats living in this cave. There are other living creatures that typically are found in caves, including cave salamanders.

Macy was one of my best friends in the entire world and unfortunately passed away in November of this past year due to a battle with cancer.  
Macy and I always talked about how we would be in each other's weddings one day, and I know Macy will be with me on my special day as she is every single day. 
I am thankful for the opportunity to honor Macy as one of my bridesmaids, because she was and will always be one of my favorite people ever.
