Q: When and where is the wedding?

A: We’re tying the knot on December 27th, 2025!

The ceremony starts at 1:30 PM in Hoven, South Dakota.

Our reception celebration will follow that evening at 6pm in Pierre at the Ramkota.

Q: What time should I arrive?

A: Please arrive by 1:15 PM to find your seat and soak up the small-town wedding charm. Doors will open by 1:00 PM.

Q: What's the dress code?

A: Semi-formal! Think khakis, button-ups, or whatever makes you feel festive and photo-ready! We would love to see you all wearing your favorite festive colors :) Bridesmaids will be wearing velvet burgundy dresses, so if you do not want to match with them - maybe avoid that color (but Hunter won't be mad if you want to match them LOL)

Travel & Stays

Q: Where should I stay?

A: We recommend the Ramkota Hotel in Pierre—convenient, comfy, and where the party’s at! We've reserved a room block for guests (details on the Travel/Stay tab).

Q: How long is the drive between Hoven and Pierre?

A: Approximately 1 hr 30 minutes. If you cannot make it to both the wedding and the reception, we totally understand! We will have the option to indicate whether you plan to attend both on your RSVP.

Q: What’s the closest airport?

A: The closest airport is Pierre Regional Airport (PIR). There are direct flights to/from Denver if you prefer to fly directly into town (https://denverairconnection.com/book-dac-direct/).

Q: Are there other nearby airports?

A: Yes (see location & distance from airport below)

-Rapid City (RAP): 2 hr 41 min (FYI- Rapid City is in Mountain Time, while Pierre is in Central Time)

-Sioux Falls (FSD): 3 hr 7 min

-Aberdeen Regional Airport (ABR): 2hr 43 min (direct flights to/from Minneapolis)

-Watertown (ATY): 3 hr 14 min (direct flights to/from Denver and Chicago)

RSVP, Plus-Ones & Kiddos

Q: When is the RSVP deadline?

A: Kindly RSVP by November 15th so we can finalize headcounts (and your dinner plate!).

Q: Can I bring a plus-one?

A: We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends. Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding! Please contact us with any questions!

Q: Are kids invited?

A: Yes! We’re excited to celebrate with your whole family. Your children should be listed on the RSVP page. Please let us know whether they’ll be enjoying a kid’s meal (recommended for ages 12 and under) or if they’re too young to need one. If you have any questions or if we missed your child's name on the RSVP, don’t hesitate to reach out!

Ceremony & Reception

Q: Are the ceremony and reception at the same place?

A: Nope—ceremony in Hoven, reception in Pierre. Road trip, anyone? 🎶

Q: Is there assigned seating at the reception?

A: Nope :)

Q: Will there be food and drinks?

A: Absolutely—come hungry! A delicious meal will be served, and there will be multiple cash bars available throughout the reception area.
