Do I have to stay a full week?
No, you can stay for as long as you can or would like to.
Will there be group events that I need to attend during the wedding week?
Not really. The only 'group event' I have planned is the wedding day and cocktail hour afterward. I would love to spend time with everyone who is able to attend, but I am also aware that this may double as a vacation for some. Please do not feel obligated to plan your time here around us!
I waited too long to book and now no rooms are available, what should I do?
My initial response to this is to please be proactive and book as soon as you are able, however if you go to book and there are no rooms available you can always check at the Sandals Royal Caribbean. This location is also in Montego Bay and a short shuttle ride away. If you have to do this, you will have access to both resort amenities and will be able to attend our wedding!
I waited too long and now there are no rooms at either Sandals Montego Bay locations. What should I do?
I am unsure of other places to stay in the area, but if you do your research and are able to find lodging outside of Sandals, you can purchase a day voucher to obtain access to the Sandals grounds and will still be able to attend the wedding this way.
Have you reserved a block of rooms for the wedding guests?
No. You cannot block off rooms at Sandals Resorts. Please do your due diligence in securing your own room.
How do I get from the airport to the Sandals Resort?
Included with every booking is free transportation to and from the airport.
What is the weather like?
It's Jamaica in July. It's going to be HOT. Pack accordingly.
What is the dress code for your wedding?
There isn't one. I just want you to feel comfortable, have fun, and enjoy this special day with us. If I was to ask anything of my guests attire, just don't wear swimsuits I guess.
Are kids allowed?
Nope. This is an adults only resort.
Can I bring a guest?
Assuming you do not have a guest or plus one that I am already aware of, please just reach out to me and let me know who you plan on bringing. We can discuss this privately and it shouldn't be a problem since the guest list is already small.
What type of food will be served at the wedding?
We aren't doing a traditional reception and sit down dinner after the ceremony. We will have a two-hour sitting cocktail hour with passed hors d'oeuvres for the duration of the two hours along with the premium bar.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Um, yes. Please do and send me all of them when it's over.
