Steve and Isabel met in the summer of 2014 at a young adult retreat in Manhattan Beach. They left the retreat without the thought that they would ever see each other again. God, of course, had a plan for them. Steve and Isabel bumped into each other again, again, and again through the following months until Steve asked her out to lunch. They shared their past with each other, their dreams of the future, and they fell in love. On December 26, 2016 Steve got down on one knee, right outside Mt. Baldy, and asked her to marry him. She said "Yes!"
