Ian and I first matched on Tinder on Nov 10, 2020 while I was on my 3rd year medical school rotations in Chillicothe, OH. He quickly messaged me and we talked for a few days before setting up a dinner date. When I first met Ian, I enjoyed how kind and genuine he was. He also kept me laughing all night. We had a few more dates before I left for Thanksgiving break. As he helped me pack my car, Ian "accidentally" told me he loved me because he thought I said it first. We continued to date and on New Year's Eve, Ian first asked me to be his girlfriend. Of course I said yes. I remember after dating for about two weeks, I was on the phone with my mom and I said " I think I'm going to marry this man." She replied with " Well how does Ian feel about that?" To which I replied, "I'm not sure, but I've already decided." Two and a half years and a 400+ mile move later, Ian asked me to marry him in the ocean in Costa Maya, Mexico. Again, I obviously said yes! We are so excited to get married and celebrate with all of our family and friends!

Betsy caught my eye with her cute smile, so I of course swiped right. Despite being shy, I couldn't stop talking to her. I was immediately drawn to her intelligence and wit. After going out for a Chillicothe New Years Eve at the Crosskeys, I knew I wanted to make her mine. This woman made me want to be my best self. We dated over the next year and then the time for residency match came. We landed in our new home in Central Pennsylvania and have grown here together since. Betsy set the date for our engagement photos before I planned to propose on our cruise, so I knew it was time. After a fresh lime margarita on the beach in Mexico, I set up my GoPro and waded into the water. This was her happy place and I knew there was no more perfect time than that to ask her to spend the rest of her life with me. I am excited for the memorable night that will be, the twenty-first night of September. I am also excited for her to tell that joke for the rest of our lives. We cannot wait to make those memories with the rest of our loved ones!
