We first met in high school—kind of by accident. We went to different schools, but Ian briefly dated one of her friends, which led him to prom with her group. Though nothing came of it then, Ian always had this feeling we’d be a great match. Danielle was effortlessly cool, beautiful, and we shared so many of the same interests.

Over the years, we’d bump into each other at music festivals and even matched on dating apps a few times. But it wasn’t until after college—when we both moved back home and matched again on Bumble—that timing finally caught up with fate. This time, she gave him a real chance.

Our first date was a double date... with her high school friend (yes, the one he went to prom with; look for her in the bridal party!) and her boyfriend. Luckily, things went well—really well. Within a month, we were officially together.

From then on, life got sweeter: beach days, home-cooked meals, concerts, and late-night raves. Ian took Dani on her first cruises. She tried to teach him patience in the kitchen; he tried to teach her how to snowboard. We’ve danced under the lights at every EDC Orlando and Forbidden Kingdom since. And about a year in, we added a furry new adventure buddy to the mix—our dog, Luffy.

On July 27th, 2024, during a hike to High Shoals Falls in Georgia, Ian proposed—with Luffy by his side and a family ring in his pocket (the same one her dad used to propose to her mom). They had to cross a rocky stream barefoot to get to the spot, but thankfully, a kind family nearby secretly captured the whole moment on video and camera. On the way back, Ian got stung by a hornet and we got caught in a downpour, but honestly—it was still one of the best days of our lives.

From gym sessions to beach days, quiet dinners to shared adventures, movie nights to late-night raves, we’ve built a life full of love, laughter, and deep friendship. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with you!
