Hi Everyone, here is a timeline of things to do in preparation for our December wedding in Kenya. This want everyone to have landed in Kenya by Christmas eve at the latest.

Passport- if your passport will expire 6 months after you return from Kenya, it needs to be renewed! If your passport expires in June of 2026, renew now! This will take several months to get your renewed passport, so act now.

Visa: You will need a tourist visa for this trip. You can go through the Kenyan consulate, but we learned through experience this is the hard way. The quick and easy way is through the Atlys app. Apply at least one month before the date of travel and Atlys got you.

Vaccines - check with your primary care physician about any shots you need to update or take for this Kenya trip.

Plane tickets: The flight to Kenya is a long one, so thank you all in advance for the journey. A solid plane ticket rate to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) is $1,200, but this price fluctuates. The time it takes also ranges, Ian and I usually go through Ethiopian airlines for a 19 to 21 hour flight, this includes layover time. Other options are British Airways and Emirates.

Accommodations: We recommend that everyone to be in Nairobi.
