Our relationship began when we met by chance through our good friends (who happen to be siblings), Will and Sarah Faith. Sarah Faith invited Kayla and Will invited Iker to dinner in Knoxville with their parents. Who would've thought that a casual dinner would be life changing for us! :) Iker was headed back to Spain for Thanksgiving / Christmas break so our relationship started with lots of facetimes getting to know each other!

Once we were both back in Tennessee after winter break, we officially became a couple after watching the sunset on the Pinnacle overlook in Harrogate.

Our first trip to Charleston to visit Nicole, Marc, and Atlas! This became one of our favorite spots and we have so many great memories there with Nicole and Marc. We later decided to have our engagement photos done at Folly Beach!

Kayla's first trip over to Barcelona and Menorca to meet Iker's family! We loved going around his hometown near Barcelona and then going to Menorca together to explore the gorgeous island where Iker spent a lot of time growing up.

Iker came to Chicago and Lake Cora for the first time before heading back to school in Tennessee! He fell in love with "lake life" and we were so excited to show his family from Spain how special Lake Cora is this summer!

Skip forward 2 years (with so much great time spent together skiing, biking, traveling, kayaking, hiking, watching movies, making charcuterie boards, going on picnics, practicing yoga, going on road trips, enjoying concerts and more) to the moment in this picture on Yonah Mountain. We were on the perfect camping trip where Iker proposed to Kayla!!
