Welcome to Knoxville, our scruffy little city at the foothills of the beautiful Smoky Mountains!
Regardless of if you're looking for great hiking spots, unique breweries and local food, or wanting to explore Knoxville, there is something for everyone here.
We've listed a few of our favorite spots that we've enjoyed throughout our relationship, and we hope you fall in love with them as we have.
Xul Beer Company
This is our all time favorite brewery. If you've come to visit us for a weekend, we have 100% dragged you there. There are two locations: one in downtown Knoxville and one in Hardin Valley, but we prefer the downtown location. We recommend their fruited beers- especially the PB&J Mixtape, their popular peanut butter & jelly gluten-free sour. It tastes like an Uncrustable but better.
Schulz Bräu Brewing Company
Delicious German food and beer! What more could you ask for? They have a lovely outdoor biergarten and indoor taproom. Schulz is one of our favorite hang out spots on cool weekends.
Barrelhouse by Gypsy Circus
Some of the best ciders you'll ever have. Gypsy Circus is in walking distance from XUL, and is a local gem.
Boyd’s Jig and Reel
Located in Old City near downtown, Jig and Reel is a unique Scottish pub with delicious food, beer, and over 1,000 whiskeys.
