As with all good things, it began at Costco.
One summer's eve around 5 years ago Josh transferred to the Scottsdale Costco where Ilona worked many long, lonely hours. Although the two were clearly attracted to one another, alas, they worked in different departments - a merchant and a janitor could never be!
But one fateful night Ilona, a broke damsel in distress, began picking up extra hours stocking with the Night Merchants and so their romance began. There in the aisle of 332 Ilona and Josh grew to rather like one another.
Soon Ilona took a keen interest in keeping the laundry aisle sparkling and it was quickly the cleanest place in the store. After much razzing and many eyes made, days turned into weeks as winter settled on the once sunny land of Scottsdale, Arizona. Ilona, being super excellent at skiing and having recently learned that Josh was not so bad himself, challenged Josh to shred the double blacks - a challenge he immediately accepted!
Turns out, Josh was pretty good at skiing. Soon the two started going up together more often, and despite one incredibly awkward date, Ilona, wanting to see Glass Animals, invited Josh to accompany her on the journey to the fabled Red Rocks - and once again he accepted!
Then Covid struck. The concert was moved back.
After being stuck together quite a bit during the pandemic Ilona and Josh were thrilled when the day finally came to make the scenic drive to Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
What's this? The tickets won't pull up? Time to contact customer service.
"Hello, I'm having trouble pulling up the tickets for the Glass Animals concert tonight"
"Uhm...that concert is a year from now."

Turns out they moved it by a few months and a year but the year was in smaller print.
Our trip to Denver to go bowling was pretty stellar though so we've decided to stay adventure buddies 'til death do us part.
One year later
