Marcus and Imani first met through FCA many years ago, never imagining that their paths would one day lead them here. Life took them in different directions, but after Imani returned to Savannah following college, fate stepped in once again. At a fundraising event at Old Prohibition in Savannah, Marcus invited Imani to join him at the bar for a drink and to watch a space launch, a small but meaningful moment that rekindled their friendship.From that evening forward, their lives seemed to cross often. They continued to run into each other at local run groups and races, where a friendly rivalry grew (though it quickly became clear that Imani’s speed on the course gave her the advantage). Their connection deepened when Marcus invited Imani to join him for bingo at the Taphouse. After many invitations, she finally agreed, and that night marked the beginning of countless memorable outings together.What followed were evenings spent watching running documentaries, moments of laughter and companionship, and even an adventurous camping trip to Asheville to escape a hurricane. In time, what began as friendship blossomed into love, and in 2019, six years after they first met Marcus and Imani began their relationship.On July 11, 2025, on a beautiful beachfront dock in Cozumel, Mexico, Marcus asked Imani to marry him. For those who know her well, surprising Imani is no small feat ,yet Marcus planned and carried out the perfect proposal.Their story is one of patience, timing, and joy. What started as chance encounters has grown into a lasting partnership, and they now look forward to beginning their greatest adventure yet, marriage.

Parking InformationThe ceremony will be held at the Lutheran Church of the Ascension in downtown Savannah. Street parking is available throughout the Historic District; however, spaces may be limited depending on the time of day and local events.If you are unable to find street parking, several public parking garages are located within a short walking distance of the church, including the Bryan Street Garage, Whitaker Street Garage, and Robinson Parking Garage.We recommend allowing extra time for parking and arriving 20–30 minutes before the ceremony begins to ensure a relaxed and timely arrival. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Reception &amp; Shuttle InformationFollowing the ceremony, please join us for our reception at Captain Butler's Retreat, located at 115 Penrose Drive, Savannah, GA 31410.Please note that parking at the reception venue is reserved for vendors only. Guest parking will be available at Bread &amp; Butter at Auspicious Baking Co., located at 104 Bryan Woods Road, Savannah, GA 31410.A complimentary 16-passenger shuttle will transport guests between the parking area and the reception venue. Shuttle service will begin prior to cocktail hour and will continue throughout the evening, running back and forth for both arrivals and departures.We kindly ask that all guests park at the designated shuttle location and allow a few extra minutes for transportation. Thank you for helping us ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone

Day of Information

I first met Holly in college our freshman year under very typical circumstances. I was leaving for a run, and she was… in a bush after a long night out. When I got back from my run we ran into each other again in the bathroom and we went to the dining hall for lunch and somehow, from that moment on, we became completely inseparable. We started our journey as unofficial roommates, and from there, it only got better.
Holly has been my partner-in-crime through spontaneous road trips, off key car singalongs, and late night talks that turned into early morning laughs. She’s the kind of friend who shows up not just physically (or facetime due to our long distance relationship), but with her whole heart. She’s supported me through every high, every low, and every questionable outfit choice.
Having Holly by my side as my Maid of Honor means the absolute world to me. She’s not just my best friend, she's family. And I truly don’t know who I’d be without her loud laugh, big hugs, and even bigger heart.

Spencer was one of the first people to make Savannah feel like home. We started out as coworkers at Gulfstream Aerospace, but before long we were training for triathlons together and sharing a roof while I hunted for my first place. He has a way of making every challenge seem achievable, from career hurdles to learning to ski in just one weekend. Somehow, he pulled that off even as a devoted snowboarder on Sugar Mountain. Spencer’s mix of adventure, encouragement, and quick wit has shaped so many of my happiest memories, and I could not imagine this day without him by my side.

From the moment I met Megan, it felt like reconnecting with someone I was always meant to know. We clicked instantly, and my life has been brighter, fuller, and way more fun ever since.Megan is the kind of friend who just gets it. Shes my go to for everything, spontaneous coffee dates, “we’re just browsing” shopping trips, pool days, bingo, and deep, soul nourishing conversations that bounce between works biggest questions and the weirdest hypothetical scenarios that usually end in us wondering how people can be so dumb.She is thoughtful, hilarious, understanding, and always shows up with so much love and often with snacks, wine (or sunscreen). Megan makes people feel seen, valued, and deeply loved, and I’m beyond grateful to have had her walk beside me through life.

Kayla  is hilarious without trying, and has been stealing the spotlight (and our snacks) since day one. Even when we were younger Kayla always found a way to be involved in our antics. Whether you were leaving a breadcrumb trail of snacks we would try to sneak out of the pantry or running around Cherokee road a time was always had. Over the years, Kayla has gone from the little one tagging along to the person I turn to for real talks, unexpected laughs, brutally honest opinions, and the occasional eye roll that only she can deliver so well. She brings energy, sass, and a whole lot of laughter into every room. We’ve shared so many memories, some sweet, some ridiculous, some that make me thankful that social media wasn't as big as it is now when we were kids and all of them unforgettable. Whether we’re laughing until we cry, arguing over who did what, or just hanging out doing absolutely nothing and somehow still having the best time, life with Kayla has always been a little louder, a little crazier, and a lot more fun.

Jada has been by my side since the very beginning (My Irish Twin), but not just as my sister, but as one of my very first friends, biggest supporters, and occasional co-conspirator in all things sisterly chaos. She knows every version of me the awkward phases, the victories, the emo “phase”, and the glowups and has loved me through them all.
We’ve shared the kind of bond that only sisters can: full of inside jokes, whispered late night talks, and the occasional argument that somehow ends in laughter. Whether we’re dancing in the kitchen, reminiscing over old family photos, or just being completely ourselves, Jada makes every moment fly by. Having her stand by me on this day means more than words can fully say.

Sam is a fantastic addition to the bridal party, bringing her kindness, humor, and positive energy to every moment. As Marcus's younger sister, she plays an important role in this celebration, and her support means so much to both of us. It has been a blast watching you chasing your dreams over the years. It feels like just yesterday that we were loading up the van and moving you into your dorm rooms and now we have the pleasure of watching you become a better you everyday. We’re so happy to have you standing by our side on this special day, sharing in the joy, laughter, and memories to come.

CJ is the Imani’s younger brother. He brings energy to every gathering and has an easygoing personality that makes everyone feel welcome. Whether he is cracking jokes at the perfect moment, helping out without being asked, or just keeping the mood light, CJ has a way of making any room brighter. Even though he is the youngest of the group, he carries himself with a maturity and kindness that stand out. I am excited to have him join the wedding party and share in all the memories we will create together.

Malerie isn’t just a friend, she's my sorority twin, my built-in partner in chaos, and one of the most unforgettable people I’ve ever had the joy of calling mine. Sigma Alpha brought us together, and from day one, it was clear we were a match made in hilarious, slightly unhinged sisterhood heaven. Fun fact our rush class was so big that our first personal conversation didn't happen until in passing we noticed the handwriting on our letters during clue week were the same and that we had both received pumpkin spice oreos from Amanda. 
Malerie is the person who shows up with heart, with sarcasm, with a glass of milk, and with the kind of loyalty you don’t come across every day. We laughed until our faces hurt, shared way too many “this is fine” moments, and somehow managed to keep each other sane through it all. Malerie is honest, hilarious, full of spice, and is always exactly who she is. I truly wouldn’t be the same person without her.

From the first day we met in cross country back in high school, I knew you were someone special because we spent a lot of time laughing and joking about anything and everything that we had no business. Since 2012, you’ve been my best friend, my constant through every adventure, every heartbreak, every laugh until we cry moment. We've grown up side by side, tackled every relationship twist and turn together, and made memories I’ll hold onto forever.
One of my favorite memories, one that still makes me laugh every time, is that weekend very early on in mine and Marcus’s relationship that a hurricane was hitting, and Marcus insisted on going camping... but I was only going if you came too and with an hour's notice at that. Hiking through beautiful trails, laughing nonstop, and watching Marcus attempt to cook those propane eggs (over and over IYKYK) made it one of the most ridiculous and joyful weekends ever. That’s what being with you always feels like: full of love, laughter, and a sense of home, no matter where we are.

When I moved to Savannah, Dustin was the steady hand who helped me find my footing. What began as a workplace connection grew into a friendship rooted in trust and reliability. He has stepped in countless times when I needed a hand, always quietly and without hesitation. Dustin does not just show up; he shows up fully, and his loyalty and generosity have left an incredible mark on my life. Having him stand with me is as natural as it is meaningful.

Walter has been the wise voice I did not even know I needed. He started as my boss, but that title never defined him. Over the years, he has been the guy with every tool under the sun when my car decided to act up and the friend who could talk through life’s trickiest moments with patience and honesty. But Walter is not all serious talk and sage advice. He is also the first to pack for a ski trip with the guys or dream up wild toys just to build something ridiculous and fun. Walter is a rare mix of wisdom, humor, and generosity, and I am lucky to call him my friend.

Andrew has a way of turning any ordinary day into an adventure. From late night explorations of Savannah when we first met to chasing powder through Utah, Colorado, and Canada, he has always been the one to say “why not” and make it happen. His boundless energy and love for community keep life exciting, whether we are traveling across country or taking part in a local event. Andrew brings joy and spontaneity everywhere we go, and I am thrilled to have him here to celebrate this new chapter.

Garret is one of the sharpest and most dependable friends I have. We met as desk mates at Gulfstream, and I was immediately impressed by how quickly he picked up anything thrown his way. Over time, we have shared countless brainstorms, conversations, and laughs that turned a coworker into a trusted friend. Garret is the guy you know will have your back no matter what. Loyal, thoughtful, and solid as they come, having him in my corner on this day feels exactly right.
