Imer and my brother James have been friends for 5 years and counting. I would see Imer over the years hanging out with James or at some of our family celebrations. I always considered Imer to be a really good friend to my brother and admired his faith. Imer and I were both in my brother's wedding in June 2025. Imer was a groomsman and I was a groomswoman. We had some laughs, celebrated, and danced together. After the wedding, we started to become friends instead of just acquaintances, hang out, and then date. Imer joined my family for family photos Oct. 4th, and he proposed! His mom, sister, nephew, and good friend were there to celebrate! I could not have imagined this 5 years ago that we would be togther, but I feel like God brought us together at the right time. I never imagined that my brother's good friend would be my best friend and husband. I feel so blessed!
