We kindly ask guests to dress in formal attire to match the elegance of the day.

The Ladies

Full or mid length dresses/jumpsuits for the ladies. Make sure you're comfortable and ready for the dance floor too! Also be mindful that the ceremony is on the fairway of a golf course and can always kick the shoes off later.

The Men

A suit and tie is the go—dark or neutral colours work best. A tux is welcome if you’re feeling flash, but a well-fitted suit and dress shoes will do the trick. No need to overthink it—just look sharp and feel good.

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. But if you’d like to contribute to our next chapter we’ll have a wishing well on the day.

The Peak Lorne

The Peak, Lorne&nbsp;offers a stunning coastal setting nestled within the Lorne Golf Club. With panoramic views over the ocean and lush greenery, it’s a unique and relaxed venue perfect for celebrating love. From a ceremony on the fairway to a reception in the clubhouse, The Peak blends natural beauty with laid-back elegance.

There will be limited parking at The Peak for those who wish to drive. However, we recommend you catch one of the shuttle buses provided from Lorne (See Travel tab for bus details). Upon arrival please make your way up the path highlighted on the site map above. This path will lead you up to the 1st Fairway where the ceremony will take place. The walk is approximately 250m with a slight incline so there will be a vehicle available for those who require it.

Venue

Christian's bus company will kindly be supplying the shuttle bus transport service to and from the wedding. The bus will depart at 2:25 PM from the Lorne Hotel, we recommend everybody be at their chosen pick up spot at this time. There will be 3 pick up locations along the way: Stop 1 - Lorne Hotel Stop 2 - The Mantra Lorne (The bus stop on the opposite side of the Great Ocean Road to the Mantra) Stop 3 - Foodworks There will be multiple buses so if there is not room on the first one there will be room on the others. They will all depart at the same time. The return shuttle will begin at 10:30PM through to 11:15PM. This will be a single 57 seater making multiple trips, stopping at all stops.

Recovery 

Join us the Saturday morning after the wedding in the garden area at Mantra Lorne for a much-needed recovery session. There’ll be a food truck serving up the kind of meals that hit extra hard when you’re running on love, laughter, and a mild hangover. Meals will be available for purchase—bring your appetite and your best stories from the night before! We will also be heading to the rooftop at Lorne Hotel on Saturday afternoon for some drinks for those who want to continue the celebrations. Please make sure you RSVP for the recovery.

Recovery

Due to it being the middle weekend of the Term 1/2 school holidays in 2026, we wanted to give you all plenty of notice to book accommodation in nice and early. Below we have some suggestions/options for accommodation in the Lorne area. The Cumberland Resort and Lorne Caravan Park have kindly offered a 10% discount to any of our wedding guests. You just need to mention that you are guests of Ingrid and Jay's wedding. There are also plenty of beautiful Airbnb options.
