Welcome to Aruba – The One Happy Island

Aruba is a breathtaking Caribbean paradise, known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters, white sandy beaches, and year-round sunshine. But beyond its postcard-perfect beauty, this island holds a deep history and vibrant culture. Formed by ancient volcanic activity, Aruba’s rugged landscapes blend seamlessly with its serene coastline, offering everything from dramatic desert terrain and natural rock formations to calm, swaying palm trees by the sea.

Aruba isn’t just a paradise of sun, sand, and sea—it’s also one of the safest and most welcoming destinations in the Caribbean. Known for its low crime rate and friendly atmosphere, the island embraces visitors with open arms, making it the perfect place to relax and explore with peace of mind

What truly sets Aruba apart is its people. We are known as some of the friendliest in the world, always ready to share a smile, a story, or a helping hand. Most Arubans grow up speaking four languages—English, Spanish, Dutch, and our native language, Papiamento—so wherever you’re from, you’ll feel right at home.

From the moment you arrive, you’ll experience the warmth of Aruba—not just from the sunshine, but from the people who make this island so special.

For me, Aruba is more than just a stunning destination—it’s home. I was born and raised here, and my family, the Berkley and Arendsz families, have been part of this island’s history for hundreds of years. Aruba’s warmth isn’t just in the weather—it’s in the people, the music, the food, and the traditions that have been passed down through generations.

Whether you're exploring hidden beaches, indulging in local flavors, or simply soaking up the island’s laid-back charm, I can’t wait for you to experience the magic of Aruba for yourself. This island has shaped who I am, and I’m so excited to share its beauty, history, and soul with you all.

Amigo Car Rental is a locally owned company in Aruba that offers a variety of vehicles for tourists. While the island is small, renting a car makes it much easier to explore at your own pace. Amigo has convenient locations near the airport and hotel areas, along with pick-up and drop-off services.

I’ve arranged an exclusive additional discount for our wedding group with Amigo Car Rental. The website already includes a 5% discount, and we’ve secured an extra 10%, bringing the total discount to 15% (please keep this within our group).

To book, visit the website to check rates and available cars. Once you've chosen your car, email Amigo and contact Paulina, making sure to include the promo code in the subject line.

You can pick up your car at the airport or their main office. Note that airport pick-ups include an additional fee, so if you’d like to save on costs, consider taking a cab to the main office instead. Full details are available on the website.
