It all began in the summer of 2017...
Ingrid was only home for a couple of weeks between her senior and graduate year of college. The first date was not all what Chase had planned. He had hoped for a lovely dinner at Sweet Water Tavern but Ingrid had already eaten and was not hungry when she arrived. They talked and had a drink then decided to head to Bar Louie to keep the night going. The conversation and drinks were flowing, neither one of them ran away (despite the drunk dude next to them attempting to give them dating advice), and they agreed to go out again soon while Ingrid was home.




Making it official...
While Ingrid was away at college, they made sure to text each other daily. This is when their true friendship was form. When Ingrid moved back home, they decided to give the relationship a shot. They went on an ice-skating date in Old Town Manassas where they share their first kiss in the parking lot (hallelujah)! December 29, 2017 became a very important date to them.




The love story continues...
Over the years, Ingrid and Chase have continued to make each other laugh, be each others safe space, and most importantly, KEEP EACH OTHER FED. They have gone on many dates and vacations together. Some of their favorite memories usually involve Bethany Beach, Delaware! This is where they went on their very first trip together and continue to make yearly visits!


Chase and Ingrid have share many special milestones including purchasing a home together in September 2023. To celebrate, they planned a getaway to their favorite place, Bethany Beach. While on this trip, Chase and Ingrid had lots of fun and enjoyed each others company. This is when Chase asked Ingrid to marry him by putting his key ring with the keys to their own house on her ring finger while preparing refreshing drinks and a romantic dinner. Ingrid said yes! Ingrid loved being proposed to so much that she made Chase do it again the next morning! Chase got down on one knee in the sand and ask her to marry him, again. Of course, she said yes and they kissed with the gorgeous ocean sunrise behind them! Who else gets to brag that the love of her life asked her to marry him twice in a twelve hour period?


They are beyond excited to continue to grow old and gray together. They know that they can handle anything as long as no one is hangry.
