WHERE IS THE WEDDING VENUE LOCATED?
The venue location will be held at the Crysler Community Center, about 35 mins outside Ottawa. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside at the gazebo, while the reception will be indoors. In the event of rain, the ceremony and reception will both be held indoors.
WILL THERE BE PARKING?
There is parking at the Community Center, accessible from Third and Fourth Streets. Parking is to the left of the Community Center as well as in front of the dome.
WHAT IS THE ATTIRE?
We ask our guests to dress in Formal Attire. Part of the event will be held outdoors, so please bring appropriate footwear as the ground may be wet at this time of year. Furthermore, as it is sometimes cool in the fall, please be sure to bring extra layers.
WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED?
Unfortunately, transportation will not be provided for the wedding. Uber services and taxi services are available in the area (for our out of town guests). There is also the option to carpool with other friends.
WILL THERE BE A BAR?
There will be a bar at the reception, however, guests will be responsible for paying for their own drinks. Alcohol selection is as per the Community Center's discretion. All alcohol must stay inside of the Community Center and no outside alcohol is permitted.
MAY I TAKE PHOTOS DURING THE WEDDING?
We welcome our guest to our unplugged ceremony as a photographer will be provided to take all the memorable pictures of the couple and guests. The bride and groom wish to ask their guests to NOT take pictures of their baby.
IS THERE A REGISTRY?
The couple is planning to move soon to start their family in a new home. Therefore, instead of a registry, any monetary gift is appreciated. Please note that while there is no registry, other gifts are also appreciated. However, the couple asks for no household items as they already have enough. Please contact the couple if you have any questions regarding gifts :)
