The Beginning:
Irish and Mark met at work in 2019. He was immediately interested and they began talking every day, eventually building up a friendship. Finally, in March of 2020, Mark went to the SDSU basketball game in Las Vegas and got enough liquid courage to try to ask her out. We say try because he really fumbled, but Irish went easy on him and said yes. After dinner he played piano for her and won her heart! Later that night, over a medicine ball at Starbucks, he told her that she should go out with him again the next day. So, she did. And the rest is history!


The Proposal:
While in Virginia for Irishs PhD graduation, Mark had a special surprise planned! She went to get her nails done for graduation photos. Meanwhile Mark went to look for the perfect location to take these graduation photoshoot photos. While getting her photos taken, she turned around and Mark got on one knee. She obviously said yes!
