WHERE ARE THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION TAKING PLACE?
The wedding, cocktail hour, and reception will be held on-site at Des Moines Heritage Center in downtown Des Moines. The ceremony will be held inside, cocktail hour will be outside in the courtyard area, and the reception will be held back indoors.
what time should I arrive?
The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to ensure you can find parking and find a comfortable seat!
are kids invited?
Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. We hope you understand and enjoy the night off!
is there a dress code?
We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting cocktail attire for our wedding. No jeans please!
Is there an open bar?
A selection of beer, wine, and seltzers will be provided.
