Our Story

The man with the big behind

I was brand new to the office building. I had thought I met just about everyone there. I was about 2-3 weeks into working there when one day, while I was just chilling at my desk in the front lobby, this beautiful man walks by. I'd never seen him before. I would have definitely known if I had. He had long flowing locks of dark hair and shiny boba pearl eyes. But the one thing that stood out to me the most was his……booty. I was so in awe that I took a photo of it and sent it to my best friend. Time stood still for a moment. Then, he interrupts my day-dreaming with “ay can I grab a water bottle from the fridge”. I stuttered back into reality “yeah, go ahead”. After this first encounter, I got so shy around him. I was friendly and talkative to all the other tenants. Butt, when he came around, I looked down and acted like I was hard at work. This lasted a solid few months. Until, “the bird incident” happened. Just keep reading lol. That was really what started “us”.

The receptionist

It all began when my office building got a new receptionist. From the moment I saw her, I just knew I needed to speak to her. The problem is, she rarely looked up and noticed me. I told the office from the start, that I will one day date her. After weeks of trying to get her attention, I finally got her attention in an unusual way. One morning, a coworker and I found a dying bird. Instead of leaving it be, I decided to bring it with me. By the time I reached the lobby, I realized I am in no way equipped to save this bird. Then came the receptionist. I told her to open her hand, and she reluctantly did. Then I placed the bird in her hand. Keep in mind, we have yet to have a full conversation. What a way to get her attention, am I right? A couple of hours went by, and there's commotion in the lobby. The tenants were saying, a bird got in the building and was causing havoc. Little did I know, the receptionist was well equipped to save this bird since she has birds of her own. She had bird food in her car, and she knew exactly what the bird needed.

From then, this sparked more conversations that lead to boba dates, to dinner dates, then to wedding dates. We grew closer together and can't seem to spend time apart. After celebrating our one year during a cruise, I realized that there is no one else Id rather spend my life with. I made the plan, executed the plan, and now we are here. I am Jim, and I found my Pam.
