It all started at a Koe Wetzel concert in New Orleans. We were there with friends, but didn’t know much about each other at the time. I remember the first time he looked at me as if I was the most beautiful girl in the world. After I finished getting dressed and putting on my makeup, I walked out & he was speechless. TRULY speechless! Isaac just stared at me and didn’t say a word!🥹From there, we went to dinner and he unexpectedly bought my dinner. While walking to the concert, I noticed that he never let me walk behind him to make sure I was safe. He bought my drinks all night at the concert and walked me out of and back into the crowd of people EVERY time I had to use the bathroom (& we all know I can pee every 5 minutes!😂).

The next morning, I made everyone get up & leave New Orleans by 5AM because I wanted to be at the Very Merry Market by 9AM to shop😅. He was so tired, but made sure he was NOT going to fall asleep while I drove because he was worried I would get tired. I finally told him to go to sleep and I would wake him if I needed to. We finally made it back to Alexandria and parted ways. And yes, I made sure to get his phone number, lol!

After shopping all morning at the VMM, I told my friend that night that if Isaac didn’t call or message me by the evening, I was going to message him. He finally messaged me… right before I was going to message him😅He asked me on a date! YAY! After that first date, I told my friend, “He’s the one. I’m going to marry him!”

About a month later, I invited him on the ferry boat in Natchitoches down Cane River with my mom’s side of the family. We all know how fun (& sometimes crazy) that side of the family is! I had to introduce him early on to make sure he knew what he was getting himself into, hehe! Well, by the end of the night, he became my boyfriend. We knew we loved each other from the start.

He is the best part of me. I truly could not have picked a better partner to spend my life with!🩷
