Dressy casual is the style for the day! We want everyone to be comfortable while celebrating with us! Keep in mind that June weather in Montana is very changeable, so keep additional layers handy.

The venue is a ski area, so as you might have guessed, it does have a high elevation... around 6700 ft. If you are uncomfortable at higher elevations, keep in mind that you will need to drink more water and move a little more slowly.

The road is a 2-lane road and has several tight turns and switchbacks, and it climbs in elevation along the way. The scenery is beautiful!

There are limited electrical outlets that can be used for crockpots, so we recommend bringing a potluck item that can be kept cool in a cooler. We will have some cooler space, but bring yours along if you are able to make sure your delicious contribution stays cold!

The ceremony will be outside. As Montanans, we won't let a little drippy weather stop us - we just call that June! However, if the weather is completely uncooperative, we will move the ceremony to inside the Lodge. The reception will be under large outside tents, so a good plan will include layers for possible changing weather conditions.

Kids are welcome to join us - that being said, the venue is a mountaintop with steep hillsides and lots of ways to get lost. If you bring your children, keep in mind that you will need to keep a keen eye on them at all times.
