Isaac and Julia met for the first time in February of 2022 when Isaac visited the Bible college Julia attended. Neither thought much of that meeting nor remembered the other. Fast forward to August of 2022, Isaac started attending the college. The two kind of avoided each other at first, but eventually a friendship grew and they began hanging out with each other and other friends. By thanksgiving both had fallen in love with the other. Isaac returned home to Idaho for Christmas break and his pastor advisd him to talk to Julia's parents and leave it with them. He did this and the two continued as friends, though it was obvious there was more there. Until Julia's parents gave the okay, neither said anything to the other. On March 5th 2023, they were allowed to start a courtship. That summer Isaac went home and Julia went overseas for a missions trip. Arriving home earlier then he told her, Isaac surprised Julia when she arrived home at the airport. On that day, August 16th 2023, Isaac proposed and Julia said yes. Both are excited to see where the Lord takes them and to serve him in ministry wherever he puts them.
