We met after our different proms at our neighboring high schools. I was under the impression that Isaac was a senior due to him being friends with the seniors and at prom.. nope he was sophomore lol. A surprise to me that I thought would be a deal breaker, clearly not. After we were inseparable the whole summer of 2015.

On 11/11 Isaac (finally lol) asked me to be his girlfriend.

In 2017, we made the hard decision to go our separate ways with no further contact... or so we thought...

After five years of no contact. I had a dream about Isaac, we were getting married & had kids together. In the morning, I received a text from Isaac out of the blue, wanting to catch up on lost time and talk about where we are in life now. We met for breakfast at Night Hawks in Uptown. And by the grace of God we re-learned each other. As kids, you fall in love based on someone's potential. I was happy to find out that he had become more than what I ever thought he could be. However, I had to play hard to get. For months, I only said I was free once a week and in public settings only. Isaac stuck through the challenges and hard conversations. And after a few months, I said HECK YES to being his girlfriend.

We had a lot of big career changes this year. I graduated from dental hygiene school with a Bachelors. Isaac continued working while studying, and received his General Contractor license.

Big move in day! We decided to get an apartment together in Apple Valley, couldn't think of a better way to start the new year than unloading MANY boxes.

The puppies joined the family. Isaac and I decided the house was too quiet and we had the ability to care for some new members. In comes Sage (on the right) & Nova (on the left) our Great Danes. No, we are not crazy enough to think "hey, lets go get two Great Danes." We went to the place believing we were only going to get Nova. We began driving about 5 minutes back home with crying Nova, until I couldn't stop thinking about little Sage and her blue puppy eyes. After surprisingly little convincing, we turned the car around. Finally Nova stopped crying once she re-connected with her sister. We headed back home as a family of four, and double the trouble.

We spent 2023 trying to fill as many fun things into the gaps of our tight work schedules. We attended church, sports games, concerts, cabins, & went hiking with the girls. Spending as much time as we could together outside under the sun.

Best Day Ever!

Isaac started the night with a romantic dinner downtown. After he asked me to go for a walk on the stone arch bridge. Somewhere along the way we stopped to look out over the water. I saw Isaac's shadow step back and I heard him say "turn around." I replied "I CANT" lol, finally I turned around. Easiest yes ever, once I turned around. Even though I thought Isaac couldn't surprise me anymore, he said "lets go celebrate!" We returned to Night Hawks, where our family and friends surprised me to celebrate our engagement.
