Isaac is the son of Chris and Cheryl Nichols, and Sarah is the daughter of David and Karen Petersen. We both grew up in loving Christian homes and are grateful that our parents taught us not only to love and follow Jesus but, more importantly, that Jesus loves us so unconditionally that He gave his life to save us. This is the lesson that will become the foundation of our marriage.

Our story began where all great romances do, at a coffee shop in Ames, Iowa. Classic.

A few months after meeting for the first time over a couple of games of Mario Kart, Isaac invited Sarah to eat lunch with their mutual friends. Sarah then decided that Isaac was funny, so she texted him because "we're gonna be friends now." Little did they know, only a trip to a coffee shop stood in their way from starting a relationship that would lead to today!
