I know exactly where to begin. I went to an interview for my current job and met a friend. I was doing homework when he texted me and invited me over to have dinner with him and his girlfriend at her house. I wasn't going to pass up the opportunity to get to know him better and obviously I couldn't pass up the food. Little did I know that I was being set up on a date with one of her roommates. That roommate was not Emily, but we talked while we were there and it was fun.

A couple of weeks go by and I showed up at FHE and there she was with some of her roommates. As I left that FHE I felt the strongest impression that I needed to text her and do something with her. I invited myself over to do homework, but we didn't end up doing very much. We talked for a long time and we felt a connection.

We went on our first official date a few days after, the day after that, I gave her a ride back to Provo and that Sunday, we went to church together. When I got home, it all came flooding back that I had just gotten out of a relationship and that I needed to just have some time to myself, so the next day, I called her and told her that I wanted to be friends. She invited me over for food (knowing I couldn't resist) and we hung out. We went to FHE and when we came back we ended up talking on the couch. I then felt an impression stronger than the first that I needed to be with her and that I had to say something in that moment.

We took things really really slow and we were official 4 days after that. We have been together almost everyday since and it is amazing! We talked about marriage very soon after and now here we are! I love her so much and am so excited to celebrate our wedding with you!
