Josh&nbsp;was&nbsp;born&nbsp;Joshua&nbsp;David&nbsp;Baird&nbsp;to&nbsp;Michael&nbsp;Baird&nbsp;and&nbsp;Peggy&nbsp;Gregory&nbsp;on&nbsp;December&nbsp;29th,&nbsp;1981&nbsp;in&nbsp;Fort&nbsp;Gordon,&nbsp;Georgia.&nbsp;Mike&nbsp;was&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;Navy&nbsp;when&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;was&nbsp;born&nbsp;so&nbsp;he&nbsp;moved&nbsp;to&nbsp;many&nbsp;places&nbsp;including&nbsp;South&nbsp;Carolina,&nbsp;Puerto&nbsp;Rico,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Florida.&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;moved&nbsp;to&nbsp;South&nbsp;Carolina&nbsp;during&nbsp;high&nbsp;school&nbsp;and&nbsp;lived&nbsp;with&nbsp;his&nbsp;grandmother,&nbsp;Myrtle&nbsp;Baird,&nbsp;until&nbsp;he&nbsp;graduated&nbsp;high&nbsp;school.&nbsp;After&nbsp;graduation&nbsp;he&nbsp;had&nbsp;many&nbsp;different&nbsp;jobs&nbsp;including&nbsp;Baskin&nbsp;Robbins,&nbsp;landscaping,&nbsp;construction,&nbsp;radio&nbsp;station&nbsp;DJ,&nbsp;and&nbsp;managing&nbsp;a&nbsp;movie&nbsp;theater.&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;enlisted&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;Air&nbsp;Force&nbsp;as&nbsp;a&nbsp;comm&nbsp;troop&nbsp;when&nbsp;he&nbsp;was&nbsp;24&nbsp;and&nbsp;got&nbsp;assigned&nbsp;to&nbsp;Italy&nbsp;for&nbsp;his&nbsp;first&nbsp;assignment.&nbsp;From&nbsp;there&nbsp;he&nbsp;moved&nbsp;to&nbsp;Germany&nbsp;and&nbsp;then&nbsp;Utah&nbsp;where&nbsp;he&nbsp;earned&nbsp;his&nbsp;commission&nbsp;as&nbsp;a&nbsp;Security&nbsp;Forces&nbsp;Officer.&nbsp;He&nbsp;then&nbsp;moved&nbsp;to&nbsp;Montana,&nbsp;South&nbsp;Korea,&nbsp;Guam,&nbsp;and&nbsp;finally&nbsp;Texas.&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;enjoys&nbsp;spending&nbsp;his&nbsp;time&nbsp;listening&nbsp;to&nbsp;music,&nbsp;playing&nbsp;video&nbsp;games,&nbsp;and&nbsp;hiking.&nbsp;He&nbsp;is&nbsp;currently&nbsp;working&nbsp;on&nbsp;his&nbsp;Master's&nbsp;Degree&nbsp;in&nbsp;Global&nbsp;Affairs&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;University&nbsp;of&nbsp;Texas&nbsp;in&nbsp;San&nbsp;Antonio.

Isabel&nbsp;was&nbsp;born&nbsp;Isabel&nbsp;Joanna&nbsp;Aleman&nbsp;to&nbsp;Laura&nbsp;Aguilar,&nbsp;on&nbsp;January&nbsp;17th,&nbsp;1990,&nbsp;in&nbsp;Fresno&nbsp;California.&nbsp;She&nbsp;was&nbsp;named&nbsp;after&nbsp;her&nbsp;late&nbsp;great-grandmother,&nbsp;Isabel&nbsp;(Chavela)&nbsp;Flores&nbsp;Aleman&nbsp;Ramos.&nbsp;Fresno&nbsp;remained&nbsp;Isabel's&nbsp;home&nbsp;for&nbsp;her&nbsp;childhood&nbsp;and&nbsp;young&nbsp;adult&nbsp;life.&nbsp;She&nbsp;has&nbsp;2&nbsp;younger&nbsp;sisters,&nbsp;Serina&nbsp;and&nbsp;Danielle.&nbsp;&nbsp;Isabel&nbsp;is&nbsp;very&nbsp;close&nbsp;to&nbsp;her&nbsp;grandparents,&nbsp;Carlos&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;Lupe&nbsp;Aleman.&nbsp;Growing&nbsp;up,&nbsp;Isabel&nbsp;loved&nbsp;participating&nbsp;in&nbsp;sports&nbsp;and&nbsp;art.&nbsp;Her&nbsp;first&nbsp;job&nbsp;was&nbsp;at&nbsp;Fosters&nbsp;Freeze&nbsp;on&nbsp;Ventura&nbsp;Street&nbsp;when&nbsp;she&nbsp;was&nbsp;16&nbsp;years&nbsp;old.&nbsp;&nbsp;She&nbsp;bought&nbsp;her&nbsp;first&nbsp;car&nbsp;after&nbsp;a&nbsp;year&nbsp;of&nbsp;working&nbsp;there.&nbsp;From&nbsp;that&nbsp;point&nbsp;on,&nbsp;she&nbsp;was&nbsp;a&nbsp;free&nbsp;bird.&nbsp;She&nbsp;took&nbsp;every&nbsp;opportunity&nbsp;to&nbsp;travel&nbsp;California,&nbsp;as&nbsp;far&nbsp;as&nbsp;she&nbsp;could&nbsp;with&nbsp;her&nbsp;tiny&nbsp;gas&nbsp;tank&nbsp;and&nbsp;small&nbsp;paychecks.&nbsp;She&nbsp;loved&nbsp;visiting&nbsp;California&nbsp;lakes,&nbsp;beaches,&nbsp;campgrounds,&nbsp;and&nbsp;big&nbsp;cities.&nbsp;She&nbsp;even&nbsp;loved&nbsp;taking&nbsp;the&nbsp;train.&nbsp;Her&nbsp;grandma&nbsp;Lupe&nbsp;used&nbsp;to&nbsp;take&nbsp;her&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;train&nbsp;frequently&nbsp;as&nbsp;a&nbsp;little&nbsp;girl.&nbsp;At&nbsp;19&nbsp;years&nbsp;old,&nbsp;Bell&nbsp;enlisted&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;Air&nbsp;National&nbsp;Guard.&nbsp;Since&nbsp;then,&nbsp;she&nbsp;has&nbsp;been&nbsp;to&nbsp;10&nbsp;countries,&nbsp;20&nbsp;states,&nbsp;and&nbsp;1&nbsp;US&nbsp;territory.&nbsp;She's&nbsp;a&nbsp;jet&nbsp;engine&nbsp;mechanic,&nbsp;has&nbsp;worked&nbsp;on&nbsp;2&nbsp;types&nbsp;of&nbsp;aircraft,&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;specialist&nbsp;on&nbsp;3&nbsp;types&nbsp;of&nbsp;aircraft&nbsp;engines,&nbsp;can&nbsp;fly&nbsp;one,&nbsp;and&nbsp;has&nbsp;been&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;military&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;last&nbsp;16&nbsp;years.&nbsp;Her&nbsp;passions&nbsp;are&nbsp;aerospace&nbsp;technology,&nbsp;art,&nbsp;and&nbsp;fashion.&nbsp;She&nbsp;loves&nbsp;her&nbsp;dog,&nbsp;Lieutenant&nbsp;Dan,&nbsp;who&nbsp;she's&nbsp;had&nbsp;for&nbsp;ten&nbsp;years&nbsp;now,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Major,&nbsp;who&nbsp;is&nbsp;three&nbsp;years&nbsp;old.

Meet the Bride & Groom

It&nbsp;was&nbsp;spring&nbsp;of&nbsp;2019.&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;was&nbsp;stationed&nbsp;in&nbsp;South&nbsp;Korea.&nbsp;He&nbsp;was&nbsp;38&nbsp;years&nbsp;old&nbsp;and&nbsp;was&nbsp;a&nbsp;security&nbsp;forces&nbsp;officer.&nbsp;He&nbsp;had&nbsp;been&nbsp;there&nbsp;for&nbsp;8&nbsp;months,&nbsp;overseas,&nbsp;living&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;barracks&nbsp;on&nbsp;Kunsan&nbsp;AFB.&nbsp;He&nbsp;didn't&nbsp;go&nbsp;out&nbsp;to&nbsp;social&nbsp;spots&nbsp;much&nbsp;or&nbsp;at&nbsp;all.&nbsp;He&nbsp;wasn't&nbsp;focused&nbsp;on&nbsp;anything&nbsp;and&nbsp;was&nbsp;content&nbsp;spending&nbsp;his&nbsp;days&nbsp;going&nbsp;to&nbsp;work,&nbsp;hanging&nbsp;out&nbsp;with&nbsp;his&nbsp;best&nbsp;friend,&nbsp;and&nbsp;eating&nbsp;spaghetti&nbsp;while&nbsp;enjoying&nbsp;Korean&nbsp;beer.&nbsp;Bell&nbsp;was&nbsp;also&nbsp;in&nbsp;South&nbsp;Korea.&nbsp;She&nbsp;was&nbsp;29&nbsp;years&nbsp;old,&nbsp;a&nbsp;jet&nbsp;engine&nbsp;mechanic&nbsp;and&nbsp;work&nbsp;focused.&nbsp;She&nbsp;had&nbsp;been&nbsp;there&nbsp;for&nbsp;6&nbsp;months.&nbsp;She&nbsp;was&nbsp;busy&nbsp;working&nbsp;long&nbsp;shifts,&nbsp;and&nbsp;if&nbsp;she&nbsp;wasn't&nbsp;working,&nbsp;she&nbsp;was&nbsp;out&nbsp;socializing&nbsp;on&nbsp;hikes&nbsp;and&nbsp;going&nbsp;out&nbsp;with&nbsp;friends&nbsp;to&nbsp;all&nbsp;the&nbsp;popular&nbsp;local&nbsp;spots.&nbsp;Neither&nbsp;one&nbsp;of&nbsp;them&nbsp;knew&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;existed&nbsp;even&nbsp;though&nbsp;they&nbsp;lived&nbsp;directly&nbsp;across&nbsp;from&nbsp;each&nbsp;other.&nbsp;Neither&nbsp;one&nbsp;was&nbsp;looking&nbsp;for&nbsp;anything.

When You Least Expect It...

Neither&nbsp;one&nbsp;of&nbsp;them&nbsp;knew&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;existed&nbsp;until&nbsp;one&nbsp;fateful&nbsp;night.&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;never&nbsp;really&nbsp;went&nbsp;out,&nbsp;but&nbsp;tonight&nbsp;was&nbsp;karaoke&nbsp;night&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;base&nbsp;club.&nbsp;He&nbsp;had&nbsp;just&nbsp;gotten&nbsp;done&nbsp;playing&nbsp;a&nbsp;game&nbsp;of&nbsp;volleyball,&nbsp;and&nbsp;his&nbsp;next&nbsp;goal&nbsp;was&nbsp;to&nbsp;convince&nbsp;his&nbsp;best&nbsp;friend&nbsp;to&nbsp;go&nbsp;to&nbsp;karaoke&nbsp;night&nbsp;with&nbsp;him.&nbsp;Bell&nbsp;had&nbsp;just&nbsp;gotten&nbsp;done&nbsp;working&nbsp;a&nbsp;14-hour&nbsp;shift&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;flight&nbsp;line.&nbsp;She&nbsp;was&nbsp;hungry,&nbsp;tired,&nbsp;and&nbsp;grumpy.&nbsp;&nbsp;Her&nbsp;peers&nbsp;had&nbsp;told&nbsp;her&nbsp;to&nbsp;meet&nbsp;them&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;bowling&nbsp;alley&nbsp;when&nbsp;she&nbsp;got&nbsp;off&nbsp;work&nbsp;for&nbsp;pizza&nbsp;and&nbsp;beer,&nbsp;so&nbsp;she&nbsp;headed&nbsp;that&nbsp;way.&nbsp;When&nbsp;Bell&nbsp;arrived&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;bowling&nbsp;alley,&nbsp;her&nbsp;peers&nbsp;were&nbsp;cleaning&nbsp;up,&nbsp;getting&nbsp;ready&nbsp;to&nbsp;leave.&nbsp;They&nbsp;were&nbsp;tired&nbsp;and&nbsp;were&nbsp;calling&nbsp;it&nbsp;a&nbsp;night.&nbsp;She&nbsp;was&nbsp;irritated, tired,&nbsp;hungry,&nbsp;&nbsp;covered&nbsp;in&nbsp;jet&nbsp;grease&nbsp;and&nbsp;jet&nbsp;fuel; she&nbsp;decided&nbsp;to&nbsp;go&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;base&nbsp;club.&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;was&nbsp;playing&nbsp;pool&nbsp;when&nbsp;he&nbsp;looked&nbsp;up&nbsp;and&nbsp;saw&nbsp;a&nbsp;girl&nbsp;walk&nbsp;in&nbsp;wearing&nbsp;a&nbsp;black&nbsp;baggy&nbsp;hoodie,&nbsp;black&nbsp;baggy&nbsp;sweatpants,&nbsp;her&nbsp;hair&nbsp;was&nbsp;tied&nbsp;back&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;bun,&nbsp;and&nbsp;there&nbsp;was&nbsp;black&nbsp;grease&nbsp;on&nbsp;her&nbsp;cheek.&nbsp;He&nbsp;immediately&nbsp;thought&nbsp;she&nbsp;was&nbsp;the&nbsp;most&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;girl&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;club.

Love At First Sight

Bell&nbsp;made&nbsp;a&nbsp;bee&nbsp;line&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;bar&nbsp;and&nbsp;stood&nbsp;in&nbsp;line&nbsp;with&nbsp;two&nbsp;things&nbsp;on&nbsp;her&nbsp;mind,&nbsp;to&nbsp;not&nbsp;speak&nbsp;to&nbsp;a&nbsp;single&nbsp;person&nbsp;and&nbsp;whiskey.&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;got&nbsp;in&nbsp;line&nbsp;right&nbsp;behind&nbsp;her.&nbsp;Bell&nbsp;asked&nbsp;the&nbsp;bartender&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;Jameson&nbsp;and&nbsp;ginger ale.&nbsp;&nbsp;As&nbsp;she&nbsp;waited&nbsp;for&nbsp;her&nbsp;order,&nbsp;she&nbsp;felt&nbsp;a&nbsp;tap&nbsp;on&nbsp;her&nbsp;shoulder.&nbsp;Annoyed,&nbsp;she&nbsp;turned&nbsp;around&nbsp;to&nbsp;see&nbsp;a&nbsp;tall,&nbsp;slim,&nbsp;big&nbsp;green&nbsp;eyed,&nbsp;messy&nbsp;haired&nbsp;man&nbsp;staring&nbsp;at&nbsp;her.&nbsp;He&nbsp;seemed&nbsp;like&nbsp;he&nbsp;lost&nbsp;his&nbsp;words&nbsp;when&nbsp;he&nbsp;spit&nbsp;out,&nbsp;"What&nbsp;did&nbsp;you&nbsp;order?".&nbsp;It&nbsp;was&nbsp;loud&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;club;&nbsp;Bell&nbsp;could&nbsp;barely&nbsp;make&nbsp;out&nbsp;what&nbsp;this&nbsp;man&nbsp;was&nbsp;saying.&nbsp;As&nbsp;the&nbsp;bartender&nbsp;handed&nbsp;Bell&nbsp;her&nbsp;drink,&nbsp;she&nbsp;replied,&nbsp;"Jameson&nbsp;and&nbsp;ginger ale, why?".&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;asked&nbsp;another&nbsp;question, "Is&nbsp;it&nbsp;good?".&nbsp;Bell&nbsp;grew&nbsp;increasingly&nbsp;more&nbsp;annoyed&nbsp;than&nbsp;she&nbsp;was&nbsp;before&nbsp;and&nbsp;rudely&nbsp;responded,&nbsp;"Yes,&nbsp;wanna&nbsp;try&nbsp;it?".&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;obliged&nbsp;and&nbsp;agreed&nbsp;that&nbsp;the&nbsp;drink&nbsp;combo&nbsp;was&nbsp;indeed&nbsp;very&nbsp;good.&nbsp;Bell&nbsp;took&nbsp;her&nbsp;drink&nbsp;back&nbsp;from&nbsp;Josh.&nbsp;She&nbsp;honestly&nbsp;didn't&nbsp;think&nbsp;he&nbsp;would&nbsp;take&nbsp;her&nbsp;up&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;offer.&nbsp;She&nbsp;looked&nbsp;up&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;green&nbsp;eyed&nbsp;stranger&nbsp;and&nbsp;yelled,&nbsp;"That's&nbsp;why&nbsp;I&nbsp;ordered&nbsp;it,"&nbsp;as&nbsp;she&nbsp;walked&nbsp;away.

Josh&nbsp;retreated&nbsp;back&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;pool&nbsp;table&nbsp;where&nbsp;his&nbsp;friend&nbsp;was&nbsp;after&nbsp;he&nbsp;ordered&nbsp;a&nbsp;drink&nbsp;himself.&nbsp;&nbsp;Bell&nbsp;found&nbsp;an&nbsp;empty&nbsp;table&nbsp;in&nbsp;direct&nbsp;light, hoping&nbsp;the&nbsp;spotlight&nbsp;would&nbsp;deflect&nbsp;others&nbsp;from&nbsp;socializing&nbsp;with&nbsp;her.&nbsp;She&nbsp;sat&nbsp;there&nbsp;with&nbsp;an&nbsp;expression&nbsp;she&nbsp;hoped&nbsp;would&nbsp;make&nbsp;her&nbsp;look&nbsp;unapproachable, hands&nbsp;in&nbsp;pockets.&nbsp;&nbsp;She&nbsp;looked&nbsp;up&nbsp;and&nbsp;saw&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;across&nbsp;the&nbsp;club&nbsp;staring&nbsp;at&nbsp;her.&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;waited&nbsp;to&nbsp;see&nbsp;if&nbsp;anyone&nbsp;would&nbsp;join&nbsp;her.&nbsp;He&nbsp;thought,&nbsp;there's&nbsp;no&nbsp;way&nbsp;she's&nbsp;here&nbsp;alone.&nbsp;When&nbsp;he&nbsp;was&nbsp;sure&nbsp;she&nbsp;was&nbsp;waiting&nbsp;for&nbsp;no&nbsp;one,&nbsp;he&nbsp;turned&nbsp;to&nbsp;his&nbsp;friend&nbsp;and&nbsp;said,&nbsp;"See&nbsp;that&nbsp;girl&nbsp;over&nbsp;there,&nbsp;sitting&nbsp;at&nbsp;that&nbsp;table&nbsp;by&nbsp;herself,&nbsp;I'm&nbsp;gonna&nbsp;go&nbsp;talk&nbsp;to&nbsp;her".&nbsp;Josh's&nbsp;friend&nbsp;bet&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;that&nbsp;he&nbsp;would&nbsp;be&nbsp;back&nbsp;in&nbsp;2&nbsp;minutes&nbsp;or&nbsp;less.&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;walked&nbsp;straight&nbsp;across&nbsp;the&nbsp;dance&nbsp;floor&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;table&nbsp;where&nbsp;Bell&nbsp;was&nbsp;sitting.&nbsp;She&nbsp;saw&nbsp;him&nbsp;walking&nbsp;towards&nbsp;her&nbsp;and&nbsp;thought&nbsp;to&nbsp;herself,&nbsp;"Oh&nbsp;god,&nbsp;oh&nbsp;god,&nbsp;oh&nbsp;god,&nbsp;please&nbsp;don't&nbsp;come&nbsp;over&nbsp;here."&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;pointed&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;seat&nbsp;next&nbsp;to&nbsp;Bell&nbsp;and&nbsp;asked&nbsp;if&nbsp;anyone&nbsp;was&nbsp;sitting&nbsp;there,&nbsp;and&nbsp;if&nbsp;not, if&nbsp;he&nbsp;could.&nbsp;&nbsp;Bell&nbsp;shrugged&nbsp;her&nbsp;shoulders.&nbsp;He&nbsp;sat&nbsp;down&nbsp;next&nbsp;to&nbsp;Bell&nbsp;and&nbsp;introduced&nbsp;himself.&nbsp;&nbsp;Bell&nbsp;was&nbsp;surprised&nbsp;how&nbsp;this&nbsp;green&nbsp;eyed&nbsp;stranger&nbsp;had&nbsp;changed&nbsp;her&nbsp;mood.&nbsp;She&nbsp;was&nbsp;laughing&nbsp;and&nbsp;having&nbsp;a&nbsp;great&nbsp;time.&nbsp;After&nbsp;a&nbsp;few&nbsp;minutes,&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;asked&nbsp;if&nbsp;his&nbsp;friend&nbsp;could&nbsp;join&nbsp;them,&nbsp;that&nbsp;he&nbsp;had&nbsp;won&nbsp;a&nbsp;bet.

Bet...

They&nbsp;had&nbsp;an&nbsp;amazing&nbsp;night&nbsp;singing&nbsp;Karaoke.&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;walked Bell back&nbsp;to&nbsp;her&nbsp;room,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Bell&nbsp;said&nbsp;goodnight.&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;wanted&nbsp;a&nbsp;kiss,&nbsp;but&nbsp;he'd&nbsp;have&nbsp;to&nbsp;wait.&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;and&nbsp;Bell&nbsp;met&nbsp;up&nbsp;again&nbsp;the&nbsp;next&nbsp;evening.&nbsp;&nbsp;Again,&nbsp;they&nbsp;were&nbsp;having&nbsp;an&nbsp;amazing&nbsp;time&nbsp;together&nbsp;until...&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;asked&nbsp;Bell&nbsp;how&nbsp;long&nbsp;she&nbsp;was&nbsp;going&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;in&nbsp;Korea.&nbsp;She&nbsp;had&nbsp;to&nbsp;tell&nbsp;him&nbsp;she&nbsp;was&nbsp;leaving&nbsp;in&nbsp;2&nbsp;days. He didn't want to believe it. There was something about this girl, that made him not want her to leave. Even though he had only known her for less than 48 hours. For the next 2 days, Josh thought about what he could do, to extend Bells stay. He passed by the flight line and thought about throwing rocks down the intakes of the jets Bell worked on, hoping it would break them and she would have to stay. On Bells last day, she had more news for Josh. They met up for what he thought was the last time, and she told him that one of her jets had broke and she needed to stay in Korea until it was fixed. Josh was ecstatic.

Eventually,&nbsp;Bell&nbsp;had&nbsp;to&nbsp;leave&nbsp;that&nbsp;side&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;world&nbsp;where&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;was.&nbsp;But&nbsp;their&nbsp;story&nbsp;wasn't&nbsp;over,&nbsp;it&nbsp;was&nbsp;only&nbsp;the&nbsp;beginning.&nbsp;Before&nbsp;she&nbsp;left,&nbsp;while&nbsp;they&nbsp;were&nbsp;in&nbsp;Guam,&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;asked&nbsp;Bell&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;his&nbsp;girlfriend.&nbsp;She&nbsp;told&nbsp;him&nbsp;he&nbsp;had&nbsp;to&nbsp;meet&nbsp;her&nbsp;family&nbsp;in&nbsp;California&nbsp;if&nbsp;he&nbsp;wanted&nbsp;her&nbsp;to&nbsp;take&nbsp;him&nbsp;seriously.&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;passionately&nbsp;pursued&nbsp;Isabel.&nbsp;Their&nbsp;dating&nbsp;stage&nbsp;was&nbsp;virtual,&nbsp;face&nbsp;time&nbsp;calls,&nbsp;text&nbsp;messages,&nbsp;and&nbsp;phone&nbsp;calls&nbsp;every&nbsp;day.&nbsp;Face&nbsp;time&nbsp;dates&nbsp;were&nbsp;a&nbsp;regular&nbsp;thing&nbsp;for&nbsp;them.&nbsp;They'd&nbsp;coordinate&nbsp;time&nbsp;zones&nbsp;and&nbsp;"meet"&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;same&nbsp;restaurants&nbsp;in&nbsp;their&nbsp;local&nbsp;areas,&nbsp;while&nbsp;face&nbsp;timing&nbsp;each&nbsp;other.&nbsp;It&nbsp;felt&nbsp;like&nbsp;they&nbsp;were&nbsp;actually&nbsp;in&nbsp;front&nbsp;of&nbsp;each&nbsp;other,&nbsp;every&nbsp;time.&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;also&nbsp;flew&nbsp;from&nbsp;Guam&nbsp;to&nbsp;California&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;with&nbsp;Isabel&nbsp;and&nbsp;her&nbsp;family&nbsp;as&nbsp;much&nbsp;as&nbsp;he&nbsp;could.&nbsp;One&nbsp;day&nbsp;he&nbsp;asked&nbsp;her&nbsp;to&nbsp;move&nbsp;in&nbsp;with&nbsp;him,&nbsp;in&nbsp;Guam.&nbsp;Bell&nbsp;put&nbsp;her&nbsp;two&nbsp;weeks&nbsp;notice&nbsp;in&nbsp;at&nbsp;her&nbsp;job&nbsp;of&nbsp;10&nbsp;years,&nbsp;packed&nbsp;up,&nbsp;and&nbsp;flew&nbsp;away&nbsp;with&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;to an island.

The start of happily ever after

Living&nbsp;in&nbsp;Guam&nbsp;together&nbsp;was&nbsp;like&nbsp;living&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;postcard.&nbsp;Every&nbsp;day,&nbsp;their&nbsp;love&nbsp;for&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;grew&nbsp;as&nbsp;they&nbsp;lived&nbsp;in&nbsp;paradise.&nbsp;&nbsp;But&nbsp;there&nbsp;was&nbsp;one&nbsp;thing&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;still&nbsp;had&nbsp;to&nbsp;do.&nbsp;He&nbsp;had&nbsp;to&nbsp;propose&nbsp;to&nbsp;Bell.&nbsp;He&nbsp;knew&nbsp;how&nbsp;important&nbsp;Bell's&nbsp;family&nbsp;was&nbsp;to&nbsp;her.&nbsp;Living&nbsp;4,000&nbsp;miles&nbsp;away&nbsp;from&nbsp;family&nbsp;made&nbsp;things&nbsp;a&nbsp;little&nbsp;difficult, but&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;wasn't&nbsp;afraid&nbsp;of&nbsp;challenges.&nbsp;For&nbsp;six&nbsp;months, he&nbsp;coordinated&nbsp;with&nbsp;Bell's&nbsp;mom&nbsp;and&nbsp;sisters&nbsp;without&nbsp;Bell&nbsp;knowing!&nbsp;They&nbsp;planned&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;day&nbsp;he&nbsp;would&nbsp;propose. The day finally came when they flew to Fresno, California from Guam. Bell had no idea what was about to happen. Bell and her local friends went out the night before, Josh desperately trying to keep the proposal a secret, went out with her nervous about the secret getting spilled. The next morning, Josh was pleading with Bell to get out of bed and get dressed for a BBQ at her mom &amp; Greg's house. She was hungover... She could see, Josh was a little anxious. She didn't question it and got dressed in a T-shirt and shorts. Josh asked her to put on a dress. Again, Bell thought this was odd behavior, but she brushed it off. They made their way to Laura &amp; Greg's house. As soon as they arrived, Bell's grandma Lupe started to not feel well. Bell's mom &amp; sisters asked Bell to take their grandma back to her house to pick up some medication. Bell agreed as expected. While they were on their way back to Bell's moms house, her sister Danielle asked her to pick up two cases of water. When they got back to her mom's house, she called Josh to help carry the water from the car to the back yard. He didn't answer. She grew annoyed and texted him. Greg, Bell's stepdad, came out to help with the water instead. Bell was confused and more annoyed. They all walked towards the side gate leading to the backyard. As Bell walked through the gate, she noticed fresh, red, rose petals sprinkled all over the ground. She looked up to see her family members all gathered in her mom's backyard and Josh waiting for her at the end of a trail of rose petals. She was still unsure what was going on. She walked towards Josh, and he began to take a knee. He held out a box with a ring in it and Bell began to feel her knees vanish from beneath her. There in her mom's backyard, with all her family watching, Josh asked her to marry him. She said yes.

The proposal

Josh &amp; Bell lived in paradise for about 2 years in their small but perfect condominium overlooking the ocean in Tamuning, Guam. Their next adventure would take them to San Antonio, Texas. Josh &amp; Bell purchased their first home together. Soon, Josh's daughters would join them in their new home. In addition to Bell's lifelong pet dog, Lieutenant Dan, the family adopted another puppy, Major Payne. Now, almost 5 years after Josh &amp; Bell first met, they are ready to invite you all to Bell's hometown, Fresno, California, and finally tie the knot!

Visitors will learn the history of Baldassare Forestiere and his underground home, gardens, and creations! This is a walking tour through underground passageways, rooms, and courtyards. Guests will be walking on earthen terrain and should dress accordingly.
Baldassare Forestiere, a Sicilian immigrant, came to America in 1901 to pursue his dreams of becoming a citrus farmer. In Fresno, California, Forestiere crafted a subterranean complex of patios, grottoes, and garden courts, all featuring arches and stonework using the local hardpan sedimentary rock. He became a self-taught artist, and patterned his underground world after the ancient catacombs he admired as a boy, near his home town of Filari, Sicily. No plans were put on paper; each room and passageway was created in Forestiere’s mind as he worked. With simple farm tools (a pick, a shovel, and a wheelbarrow) the young immigrant dug, chipped, and carved the unforgiving hardpan for 40 years, all in his spare time! By the time he was 44 years old, he had excavated and planted over 10 acres.

The Veterans Memorial Museum grew out of the efforts of several dedicated Legion of Valor members and their wives who worked with the City of Fresno to use the Fresno Veterans Memorial Auditorium.  Staffed by volunteers and supported in part by the City of Fresno, the museum houses thousands of items and papers donated by Legion of Valor members as well as others. Numerous framed citations, photographs, and exhibits tell the story of America's wars as seen by individual soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen. Uniforms and equipment of different eras are also on display.
