Our Wedding

It all began in 2018, when Joel and Isabel met in high school biology class. One day, Joel’s lab partner was out sick, so he was added to Isabel’s group to work on a project. What started as a simple partnership quickly turned into a friendship, filled with laughter and endless conversations. It didn't take long before Joel gathered the courage to ask Isabel out in February of 2019, and from that moment on, everything changed. Our love story has been filled with simple moments that have grown into precious memories. Our first date was spent watching Disney movies at Isabel’s mom’s house, where we snuggled up with Millie, Isabel's childhood German Shepherd. Millie, who had always been protective of Isabel, instantly accepted Joel, and in that moment, we knew this was something special.&nbsp; Over the years, we’ve experienced so much together: graduating high school, getting our first cars, entering the workforce, etc. We've even built a life together, creating a home filled with laughter, love, and the pitter-patter of paws. Our three dogs—Luna, Apollo, and Elvis—have joined us on this journey, filling our lives with love and keeping our hearts full. In June 2024, Joel and Isabel took a trip to Isabel’s hometown, spending the day exploring and sharing stories with her grandparents. As the day drew to a close, they ventured to nearby Fairhope, Alabama, where Joel surprised Isabel with a proposal that was as meaningful and personal as the journey they’ve shared. Surrounded by the charm of Fairhope and the warmth and love of Isabel's grandparents, she said "yes," marking the beginning of the next chapter in their beautiful story. From high school sweethearts to partners in life, we've built a foundation based on trust, laughter, and unwavering support. We can't wait to celebrate this new adventure together in November of 2025, surrounded by those who have been with us on this amazing journey. Thank you for being part of our love story. We're so excited to begin this next chapter with all of you by our side!

Enjoy a movie at the Carolina Movie Theater! This historical gem provides a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy new movies and classic concessions for amazing prices. Tickets are $5 if you buy them before 6pm and $7 after 6PM.
