March 31’st 2024 two perfect strangers meet for the first time at a trolley stop at Linda Vista Station. The sky was cloudy, and rain sprinkled throughout the day. Brandon and Isabel were invited to an All Peoples Church Easter event downtown and joined friends on the trolley to head to the event. The moment Brandon saw Isabel for the first time, he describes the moment as though something came over him and he knew instantly that Isabel was special and that he deeply desired to get to know her. He said that there was so much depth when you looked into her eyes. No conversation was exchanged during this time, other than a kind gesture of Brandon buying everyone's trolley tickets. Isabel at the time was intrigued by the new stranger, but the Lord kept her curiosity at a distance. Two weeks later, the All Peoples commission conference came around, and Brandon knew that this might be the perfect opportunity to talk to Isabel. He spent the whole weekend observing Isabel’s beauty from afar. He tried tactics of getting her attention like buying lunch for her and her friends, but it was not obvious in the slightest to Isabel. The evening of the last day, Brandon took his shot and had a unique window to ask for her number. Isabel said yes, and the story continues.&nbsp;&nbsp; Isabel and Brandon’s dating journey was quite unique. They did School of Transformation together, and grew tremendously as they pursued continued freedom in their personal lives. In tandem with the interpersonal breakthroughs Isabel found out that she got accepted to medical school. Brandon, at the time, had a desire to stay in the Marine Corps long term. The circumstance looked tricky from a relational longevity standpoint. As more breakthroughs occurred, and surrendered hearts were displayed to the Lord, things began to look clear. God so beautifully refined both Isabel and Brandon to lengths they had never been refined, and in that process brought tremendous clarity on who they were separately and how their coming together would be able to plant many seeds for the kingdom.&nbsp; Isabel will begin her medical school journey July of 2025 to become a medical doctor with the desire to do medical missions, and Brandon will finish out his Marine Corps contract and join Isabel in Tennessee to support her and continue to disciple men, and finish his degree in Developmental Psychology. Together, they will build their budding ministry. Brandon and Isabel praise Jesus for the intricate and intentional dating journey that He has brought them on. They are best friends and can’t wait to celebrate with their loved ones who have championed, poured into, and shepherded their relationship.
