January 31st 2022: The day before the Texas Tech vs. UT basketball game, I randomly messaged Garrett on Snapchat to see if he was at the party outside of United Supermarkets Arena. As I was about to leave, Garrett answered and we "re-met" (since we'd only met a few times when we were 16)

February 2022: The first week of February, Garrett got snowed in with me in Lubbock. Within a week of him going home, I made a trip back to Weatherford to visit him. After a few trips from Lubbock to Weatherford, we became best friends and started officially dating February 28th.

May 2022: I was officially moving out of Lubbock and headed back to Fort Worth. We started spending a lot of time together and doing Star Wars and Lego Star Wars date nights.

December 2022: I convinced Garrett that my family and I wear matching pajamas for Christmas. He was a great sport about it but later found out that was not true and he never wore the pajamas again... New Years Eve, Garrett found and saved his best friend Duke! Duke and my dog Honey became best friend. We can't wait to become a little family with our dogs.

February 2023: Lots of fun loving with the pups! Garrett took the dogs ice skating on top of his parking garage. For our 1 year anniversary, Garrett surprised me with front row Cody Johnson tickets in Austin.

May 25th, 2024: The day we got engaged! My parents were taking us on a trip to Fredericksburg and little did my mom and I know Garrett was about to propose. Garrett and my dad did a great job at keeping the secret. After a few wineries, we went to Heath Sparkling Wine where Garrett's parents met us (I still had no idea). Garrett took me on a short walk where he got down on a knee in front of a huge crowd. After saying yes, he was SO excited and maybe still a little nervous, he closed the ring box and forgot to put the ring on me.

Within a week of getting engaged, we had our wedding venue booked and the planning started. May 3rd, 2025 cannot come soon enough!
