Our Wedding

We never expected that something as simple as a new job at Sioux Falls Ford would change our lives forever. He was my trainer back then—patient, encouraging, and always willing to answer every question. Somewhere between learning the ropes and exchanging those shy, knowing smiles, something meaningful began to grow. Not long after we started dating, our days filled with the little routines that became the foundation of our relationship. We gave each other rides to school and work, turning every drive into our own small adventure. Lunch breaks meant chicken nuggets, after-school meant grabbing a Redbull, and weekends were our time to just be together. Sundays soon became special to us. We’d go to church side by side, finding peace not only in the service but in knowing we had each other. Music sessions in the car became another piece of our story—windows down, our favorite songs loud, singing along like the world outside didn’t exist. Those drives felt like freedom, fun, and connection all in one. About a year and a half into our relationship, we adopted our dog Joey, who quickly became the heart of our little trio. He added joy, chaos, and unconditional love to our growing life together. We made memories at local car races, watched riders at rodeos, and took spontaneous road trips to the hills—just the two of us, exploring, talking, dreaming, and learning more about each other with every mile. Along the way, we got to know each other’s families, slowly blending our lives until it felt natural, easy, and right. Little by little, we weren’t just two people dating—we were becoming one. Looking back now, our story is built from all those shared interests and everyday moments that connected us in ways we never expected. And every piece of it has led us to where we are today: building a life together, growing together, and writing a love story that’s entirely our own.
