Back in August of 2019, we met while working at the Twin Falls Five Guys. It was Izzy`s first day of work EVER. Hunter had been working there for a while and was a shift leader. Later that year Izzy went back to school and came back and worked here and there during the holidays.

AND THEN Covid hit. Izzy was back for the summer! We started to hang out outside of work with other coworkers. We developed a crush on each other but never acted on it.

Fast forward a few years when things have gone back to normal. Izzy is attending BYUI again and Hunter has been promoted to the General Manager for the Twin Falls Five Guys. Izzy comes back for the Thanksgiving break 2021 to work because she is beyond broke.

We start talking and catching up (most of our coworkers that used to work there had left the company). We decided to go and hang out outside of work. On November 27, 2021, we sat and talked for almost 7 hours straight, about our current lives and future dreams. Hunter did the brave thing that Izzy was too scared to do and kissed her while she was in the middle of her sentence.

Unfortunately, Izzy had to go back to school but whenever they could, they would take turns going to see each other. It became harder and harder for us to say goodbye. Thank goodness Izzy was almost done with school but just as she was graduating and planning to move home to Twin Falls, Hunter gets the call to move to Boise for Five Guys. Izzy now drives about 10 hours almost every weekend to see Hunter.

When Izzy is done with school she stays in Twin for a few weeks and works, spending whatever time she can in Boise with Hunter. Until Hunter needs Izzy’s help at his store. Izzy rushes up to Boise and never left his side again. It hasn`t been easy the last few years but it was always worth coming home to each other every day.
