Isabel and Jacob's story began in the most unlikely of places. Only separated by a few rooms at South Austin hospital, Jacob took his first breath on September 13th as Isabel (with a 3 day headstart) was still figuring out how to take hers.

Isabel took the PSAT at Jacob's school and her unfailing beauty piqued his interest for years to come. Jacob's desperate attempt to discover information about this new mysterious woman was thwarted by a most unhelpful mutual friend. Jacob clung tightly to the few fading memories he had of that most special PSAT girl adorned in sweatpants and Sock Religious socks. One short year later his arduous wait paid off.

Elly, a mutual friend of Jacob and Isabel, connected Isabel and Eve (Jacob's younger sister) and they became fast friends. The debate rages on as to whether she used Eve just to get closer to her dashing older brother, Jacob.

Because of the aforementioned friendship, Jacob and Isabel began seeing each other often and phone numbers were exchanged. They pretended to not like each other in group settings despite staying up until 4am talking most nights.

Isabel is overjoyed (clearly) after Jacob musters up the courage to ask her out in a dashing display of both confidence and swagger (he chased her out of the house moments before she departed).

Jacob plans a romantic second date to seduce Isabel into agreeing to be his girlfriend, thus cementing the date as their anniversary.

Insert 3 tough but fruitful years of long-distance from Texas A&M to Benedictine College full of surprise visits, facetime calls, and joyful reunions.

Alright, do you remember that gazebo from a couple of years ago? Well, this one was bigger and better and involved an engagement ring and a 'yes'.
