Isabel and Jordan met on the Hamline University Track and Field Team. They both competed as sprinters, Jordan did short sprints and Isabel did short sprints and mid-distance. In their Junior year of college, after a fun weekend at a teammate's cabin, Isabel and Jordan hit it off! Isabel and Jordan met up for coffee on January 14th, 2017 and chatted for hours. Their first official date consisted of ice skating at Rice Park in St. Paul and going to the Happy Gnome for dinner. From there, they cheered each other on at track meets, studied together, and sat next to each other on the bus. Jordan showed his interest in Isabel by visiting her while she was working at the Anderson Student Center Front Desk. In fact, on nights where Isabel closed up the building at midnight, Jordan would "study" in the student center until it was closed to walk Isabel home and ensure she got back safely. After that, Jordan and Isabel got to graduate together from Hamline University.

They had their first fur baby, Olive, in 2021. She has been a fun and loving addition to their family. Since then, they've had countless adventures traveling, ice fishing, exploring local parks, Jordan teaching Isabel how to golf, Isabel teaching Jordan how to play volleyball, and skiing/ snowboarding. They are building their first home in Elko New Market!
