Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport
Rochester's regional airport is only a 10 minute drive to the venue and local hotel options. Though it does not have many direct flight options, ROC is a small relaxed airport that is easy to fly through. Forget arriving 2 hours prior to a departing flight, security lines are virtually nonexistent. We try to arrive no greater than 45 minutes prior to boarding.
Louise M. Slaughter Amtrak Station
Not good with flights or long car drives? Rochester has an Amtrak station with direct trains out of NY Penn Station. The trip takes a little longer than by car or air, but it's the best way to see the great state of New York.
Hampton Inn & Suites Rochester Downtown
This is a newly built 3-star hotel located just 1 mile from the venue, and 5 miles from the airport.
From here its a short walk to our favorite coffee shop Ugly Duck, and a popular local museum - the Strong Museum of Play.
The Strathallan Rochester Hotel & Spa - DoubleTree by Hilton
The Strathallan - a DoubleTree by Hilton is a 4-star hotel just 1.5 miles from the venue, and 6 miles from the airport. If you're looking for an upscale spot to spend the night, this is where you want to be. Attached is a great steakhouse called Char.
Hilton Garden Inn Rochester/University & Medical Center
Located right next to the University of Rochester, this hotel is just 2 miles from the venue and 3 miles to the airport. On the same block is the University's College Town development, with a number of chains like Starbucks and Chipotle. Across the street is the historic Mt. Hope Cemetery where Fredrick Douglas, and Susan B. Anthony are buried.
