We suggest staying in Valle de Guadalupe which is a small region. You can also stay in Ensenada which is about 30 minutes from Valle de Guadalupe. There are plenty of boutique hotels or airbnbs in the area

If you are flying in the closest airport would be San Diego or Tijuana. From there there is an option to rent a vehicle or get a driver. From Phoenix the best option is to drive it is about 6 hours.
