We have been asked the same questions by many friends and family about how we first met. And it is amazing to see their reactions when we say that we have known each other since we were in elementary school. Our families have been intertwined since before we were born, making our union not so unusual.

Our lives began to drift apart as we grew up: Alex going to Cooper Middle School and Reagan High, while Isabela went to Deer Creek Elementary and Saint Francis High. For those years, we had flown under each other's radar.

That was, until the summer of 2019, Alex took a chance (actually 3 chances) at snagging a date with Isabela, taking her on a tour of Milwaukee's Best Date Spots: the local bars and pubs. That date changed everything...
