<p>Trey and Izzy met while working together at UCBC in 2018. Izzy had just moved to St. Louis and did not know a soul, so she quickly tried to make friends with coworkers. After watching 2001: A Space Odyssey in theaters with a group of new friends, Trey and Izzy developed a close friendship over the next few months. After she moved into the apartment below his, the 2020 Covid pandemic hit, and they were quarantined in the same building. A shared love of horror movies, cooking, mixology, and spending time outside prompted Izzy and Trey to realize how much time they liked spending time with one another and that maybe they wanted to spend time together for the rest of their lives.</p>
