Starting May 7, 2025, you’ll need a REAL ID (the one with the little star on it) to fly — or bring your passport if you want to feel extra fancy.

If your ID isn’t Real-ID-ready, now’s the time to make friends with your local DMV. We’d hate for anyone to miss the party because their license wasn’t feeling “official” enough!
