Our Wedding

Mason and Bella met at Liberty University, through mutual friends. But it wasn’t until spring break in Panama City that sparks really flew—though, to be fair, it could have just been the sunburns. Both enjoy staying active through working out, cooking delicious meals (a.k.a Mason gets bossed around), and cherishing quality time with family. Bella is about to graduate with a nursing degree, while Mason is knee-deep in a mechanical engineering degree, which means he can probably build a bridge over all the paperwork he’s drowning in. Oh, and just when you think this couple couldn’t get more ambitious, Mason plans to go to medical school soon. So, if you need a bridge to the hospital, he’s your guy. Their wedding marks the beginning of a new chapter filled with fun and exciting new endeavors.

WHERE SHOULD I PARK AT THE UNION LEAGUE FOR THE RECEPTION?The Union League owns a parking garage which will be available for wedding guests located at 1415 Sansom St, Philadelphia, PA 19102. Be sure to get your parking ticket validated in order to receive complimentary parking for wedding day/night! WHAT IS THE WEDDING DAY DRESS CODE?Black tie. That means a floor-length evening gown for women, tuxedos for men or black or navy suits!

UNION LEAGUE Q&amp;A WHAT IS THE UNION LEAGUE'S DRESS CODE FOR OVERNIGHT GUESTS? MEN: Jacket and tie are strongly preferred. Jacket and collared shirt are required AT ALL TIMES on the first floor members-only section of the League House. NOT PERMITTED: turtleneck shirts, collared shirts open more than one button, untucked shirts, jeans, t-shirts, athletic attire, sneakers, and flip-flops. 1862 Dining Room and Bar: Jacket and tie are required at all times. WOMEN: business suits, tailored pant or skirt ensembles, and dresses. NOT PERMITTED: spandex, open midriffs, halter tops, shorts, leggings, extremely short hemlines (not more than 3" above the knee), jeans, t-shirts, athletic attire, sneakers, and flip-flops. Breakfast: business casual attire (collared shirt and pressed slacks for men, comparable attire for women) is acceptable in the Founders Room or Café Meredith for breakfast only. WHICH SPACES AT THE LEAGUE HOUSE ARE AVAILABLE TO ME? The Union League provides membership status to wedding guests; thus, all areas are available to you! WHAT IS THE UNION LEAGUE'S POLICY REGARDING USE OF CELL PHONES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGY?Cell phones, personal digital assistants (PDA's), and other similar devices may only be used in the Business Center or private meeting rooms, except that the brief and discrete use of cell phones and PDA's are permitted, but discouraged, in the Smoking Room, Business Café (located in the back of the Old Café), and the main hallways. Reading with digital readers is permitting in all areas of the League House. Laptops and other similar devices may only be used in the Business Center, the Business Café, and private meeting rooms. The use of speakerphones is prohibited, and all cell phone, PDA, and laptop alerts must be silenced throughout the League House except in private rooms.
