As fate would have it, Riley Christiano and Isabella Delisanti met within the walls of Penfield High School, in Rochester, NY in study hall in 2013. Riley had just spent three years in Bay Trail Middle School embarrassing himself in front of girls, so when he got to meet Isabella after she transferred from Mercy, he felt that he had a clean slate.Although it took a few years for the two to share time together, Riley finally got his chance when the school placed them in multiple 11th grade classes together. The two shared laughs and jokes along with doing homework together after school. Riley got his license halfway through junior year and Isabella, being a few months younger without a license, started riding into school with him every day.As Junior year continued, Riley began to panic as he had no date to the Junior Prom. After receiving word from a mutual friend that Isabella was also in need of a date, Riley took his opportunity.One day after school, Riley asked Isabella to play basketball with him and some of their friends at the YMCA. On the way out the door, Riley told Isabella she left something in his car that morning on the way into school. To her surprise, there was a basketball marked "PROM?" with a bouquet of flowers in the front seat. Prom was such a blast for the two of them, they officially started dating on May 1, 2015.Senior year came and went, with many "lasts" spent together: Homecoming, Senior nights, Senior Ball and College Decision Day. When Graduation arrived, the couple had a tough decision to make, as they watched many classmates' relationships end.The decision to stay together was made although it would be four years of long distance, Isabella off to Elmira College and Riley attending University of Buffalo for a year and University of Wisconsin- Madison for the next three years. 700 miles apart for the majority of their relationship made them stronger both as a couple and individuals. The love they have for each other grew and what limited time together was cherished.College graduation was a disappointment as they couldn't properly celebrate their accomplishments, however, they were finally together in the same town. As Riley started Chick Magnet with his dad, and Isabella officially became an RN, they were with each other every step of the way.The couple got engaged on August 15, 2021 at Letchworth State Park. Isabella and Riley were now in the position to continue the greatest love story ever told and conquer the world together. On April 22, 2022, surrounded by their family and friends, the couple will officially become Mr. and Mrs. Christiano.
