Belle and Shane’s story starts in November of 2016. Belle was a recent graduate of Alfred University and had been student teaching in Churchville Chili. Shane was in his senior year at ESF in Syracuse studying Wildlife Science.

They had met each other online and had decided to give it a shot. Their first date was in Syracuse at the glorious Olive Garden. Shane had thought that he would impress Belle with a high-class meal. After dinner he took her to a Christmas light showing at a local park in Syracuse. Shane had led Belle on a walk through an amazing light show where they both laughed, shared similar values, and had a great time. This was of course until a man yelled out his car window “that’s a great way to get in for free”. Undenouced to Shane the light show was a drive through and had an entrance fee. After embarrassment and on their way out they had also been stopped by the police asking why they were walking through a light show the wrong way.

Fortunately, they made it out without any tickets and with a good story. That date pretty much set the stage for the rest of their relationship. They are constantly laughing, challenging each other, having fun together and usually doing something silly.

Overall, they have been through a lot in their six years. From living an hour and a half apart for the first three years of their relationship, to Shane going to the police academy for 7 months, to moving to New York City together. Belle and Shane have consistently set out to reach for passionate goals and achieve them all together. What started as a tinder date quickly turned into fate!

Belle and Shane are a classic couple. They are together welcoming and kind. Belle will teach you how to smile and to see the beauty in the world while Shane teaches you loyalty and how to laugh. They will quickly become your best friends and love you as truly as each other. They bicker contagiously and lack the ability of “indoor voices”, but support each other’s goals and visions fully. And their love for one another is just like their first date … unlimited.
