Isabella & David

Saturday, May 24, 2025 • Scranton, PA

December 2018: David spots Isabella on Instagram and starts a liking spree on her photos. Isabella, intrigued but skeptical, does what any reasonable person would do– consults her people for intel. The reviews came back strong: great guy, solid golf game, self proclaimed foodie. She liked what she saw and heard.

Isabella's next move? Adds him on Facebook (strategic). When David followed back from his food Instagram @PompsMunch, she took matters into her own hands. After a few glasses of wine and some liquid courage, she snagged his number from a mutual friend and sent the text "Hi... this is Isabella. We are friends on Facebook now so I thought it would be ok that I text you." We met in person one week later.

The connection was instant.. and I mean it. Between David's Ole Miss charm and Isabella's West Chester wit, we quickly discovered we shared the same values, dreams, and an appreciation for life's perfect moments – usually with family, friends, or out to dinner.

What followed was back-and-forths up, and down the turnpike between Scranton and West Chester until all roads led home to the 570. Our kitchen became the heart of everything, where we cooked, danced, laughed, cried. Five years flew by in a blur of date nights, memories with family and friends, spontaneous travels, and Leroy and Sushi who somehow learned to coexist.

September 2023: Laguna Beach. David had work meetings that conveniently stretched into a longer stay. The morning of the proposal, he couldn't contain his excitement, waking up singing "This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)." Not exactly subtle, but truly David. Without a question, but with bursts of tears, Isabella said yes.

From Instagram likes to forever – sometimes the best stories start with a little social media stalking, liquid courage, and help from our guardian angels.
