Our Wedding

Bella and Grayson's story begins in 2019, when they meet at Kentlake High School. Bella was in her freshman year, just finishing volleyball, and was convinced to join the high school theater company by one of her teachers as part of the stage management crew. Grayson was already a part of the theater company as the stage manager. Little did either of them know that they would one day get married.They began working together on their first show of the school year, becoming friends along the way. As the show went on, they spent more time together, and Bella eventually developed a crush that she tried to keep hidden, but according to friends and family was very obvious.

During January, the spring production began, and things were carrying on as usual, until COVID hit and everything changed. School was no longer in person, and everything was locked down. Theater became online Zoom calls that were mostly just wasting time talking as a theater company. The friendship between the two remained the same throughout the year of COVID. Talking every once in a while, and very little else.

As 2021 progressed, the two began to talk more and learn more about each other's lives, interests, etc. At one point, towards the middle of the year, Bella threw out the idea of going on a date. Grayson was unsure, and the idea fizzled out for the time. After several months of pursuit from Bella and growth in the relationship, Grayson said okay, and the two went out on a date. The relationship grew and became official in December of 2021. During the duration of their dating, they endured 2.5 years of long distance while Grayson was at college and waited for Bella to hopefully end up joining him as she was beginning her college journey herself. She got accepted to CWU and ended the long distance in September 2023. Grayson graduated from CWU in June 2024, but stayed in Ellensburg as Bella had one year of college left to complete.

In July 2024, they officially moved in to their first apartment together. Testing the waters of living and adulting together before they chose to get married. In September 2024, they got their first pet together, a tuxedo cat named Moo. There were many ups and downs while trying to learn how to manage their relationship, working, and school at the same time, but they made it work. In February of 2025, Grayson proposed on the beach at Lincoln Park in Seattle, and of course Bella said yes! Which leads us to the very exciting milestone that will be the Wuelfing wedding. Grayson and Bella will have been together 4.5 years when they get married. We are very excited to have you join us for this joyous celebration!

When and Where?

When? June 28, 2026! Reception time is 3:00 pm! For Ceremony time please see your invitation! Where? Lake Wilderness Lodge in Maple Valley, Washington!

What is the dress code?

The dress code is dressy casual! Things like sundresses, button downs and boots, or polo shirts are great examples! Please avoid wearing white, or dark green as to not match the bridal party!

Photo Taking

During the ceremony, we ask that you keep your cell phones turned off and put away and please do not take photos. We have wonderful photographers who will take beautiful photos that will be shared! We want everyone to be in the moment and share this special day with us! During the reception, feel free to take photos and have fun! On your table, there will be a QR code for you to scan and share your photos with the bride and groom!

What does "open house reception" mean?

Open house reception means come whenever you like, and stay as long as you like! We will be having different things happen throughout the reception if you are interested in being at those specific events! Towards the beginning of the reception: Announcement of Couple, Dances (first dance/parents), parent speeches Towards the middle of the reception: Cake cutting At the end of the reception: Couple exit! During the entire reception: lawn games, food, dancing, fun!

Dietary Restrictions

If you have a dietary restriction please let us know! Currently we will be offering gluten free options with dinner!

What about gifts?

Your gift to us is being there on our special day! We want more than anything to have all our loved ones be with us and enjoy this momentous occasion! If you are a friend or a family member who would like to send a gift anyway, go visit the registry tab of this site! There will also be a place for cards on the day of the wedding as well!
