Our Wedding

About seven years ago, in August of 2017, fate brought us together in the same high school math class. From the moment we met, an undeniable connection sparked between us, and we were inseparable. Our journey began with study sessions and carpool rides, and soon evolved into something more profound. As we navigated high school, our roles transitioned from study partners to water girl and team captain, and eventually, we made our relationship official. Side by side, we experienced all of life’s milestones: getting our driver’s licenses, turning eighteen, graduating high school, and applying to colleges. When it was time to choose a university, we knew we couldn’t bear to be apart. So, we both chose the University of Tennessee, in Knoxville, ready to pursue our dreams in medicine and embark on a new chapter of our lives together. Embracing all the new beginnings college brought, we also opened our hearts to fostering. Together, we cared for and rehomed 30 dogs while pursuing degrees in Audiology and Speech Pathology. Each challenge we faced only strengthened our bond, making us feel like we could conquer anything as long as we were together. After graduating college and sharing countless unforgettable moments, it became clear that life without each other was unthinkable. We could not wait any longer to be engaged, we have dreamt about this moment for seven years and were so happy to share our engagement with our friends and family in the most special place to us, Lake Lanier. Now, as we embark on the next chapter of our lives continuing our education, there is no better time for us to unite in marriage and continue writing our love story.
