It all began in April 2018, when Isabella’s Nonno got her a job at a local pizza shop. She worked the counter, while Jonah was the delivery driver. Isabella thought he was cute right away, but Jonah barely said a word. That summer, he was even fired for a late delivery (oops) —only to return though at the end of the season. This time, everything changed.
Jonah started talking to Isabella constantly, cracking jokes and even helping her buss tables (definitely not in a delivery driver’s job description). One night, when Isabella was scrambling to get a shift covered, Jonah offered to ask a fellow coworker for her. Unsure how he would let her know, Jonah smoothly said, “Well, I guess you’ll have to give me your Snapchat.” Cue the butterflies—maybe he liked her, too.
From then on, Jonah picked up Sunday shifts just to be around her. By January 2019, they finally hung out outside of work. Isabella walked to Burger King to meet him, where they discovered they both had March birthdays, and Isabella gave him a small astrology lesson (since he wrongly assumed Pisces Isabella was a fellow Aries). Later that night, in Jonah’s car, they shared their very first kiss.
In the years that followed, their bond grew through simple, unforgettable moments. In 2020, they made late-night drives to Belmar Beach, staying until sunrise. Those nights were when they truly knew they had fallen in love. By 2021, weekend trips to New York became their favorite tradition—spontaneous adventures that filled them with inspiration and joy. Road trips to places like Pittsburgh, Myrtle Beach, and D.C. followed, each one adding more laughter and memories to their story.
2022 was a year of milestones. They began it with another New York trip, flew to Los Angeles together, and in May, Isabella moved in with Jonah’s family. That summer brought treasured memories—Isabella growing close to Jonah’s family, especially some sweet days with his nieces. Later that year, they got their very first apartment, decorating it together and making it their home.
That same summer, they stumbled upon a beautiful river spot in Williamsport during the Little League World Series. It felt instantly special. A year later, Jonah brought Isabella back to that very bench. Nervous but excited, he asked her to marry him. On August 26, 2023, Isabella said yes—and their initials are now carved into that bench, a symbol of forever.
2023 was memorable for another reason too—it’s when they adopted their dog, Harper. She’s happiest when the three of them are together and quickly became the heart of their little family.
Together, Isabella and Jonah have embraced each other’s worlds. Isabella is ready every Saturday for the UFC fights, loves watching Jonah train MMA, and even started jiu-jitsu herself, while Jonah has learned the words to more Olivia Rodrigo and Gracie Abrams songs than he’d like to admit. He also has a very complicated Starbucks order — thanks to Isabella.
Family is everything to them. They love time with Isabella’s and Jonah’s families—whether it’s trips, holidays, or just being together. One of the greatest joys they share is watching their partner love the other's family as if it were their own. In 2025, they even went on a cruise to the Bahamas with Isabella’s family, and on another Williamsport trip, the same year with Jonah’s mom, continuing traditions that mean the world to them.
When they’re not traveling or chasing adventures, their favorite nights are simple—watching true crime documentaries (Isabella swears they’ve seen them all, though Jonah never can remember).
The best part of their story isn’t just the adventures or traditions, but how much they’ve grown together—supporting one another, dreaming bigger, and creating a love built to last. And now, they’re ready for the greatest adventure yet: forever.
