In order to tell you about how we met, I have to give you some background. Let's take you back to the Fall semester of 2019 at Texas A&M University. I was in a late night Accounting tutoring session in our business school. There were only a handful of people who actually attended as it was a random week night and getting to the school was a bit of a hassle. I am sitting there as I normally do, waiting for the tutor to start teaching, and in walks the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. We make eye contact, I get nervous, and look away, trying to make sure I did not do anything to look bad. Needless to say, I did not learn a single thing that night. I actually spent the entirety of the session trying to figure out how to start a conversation with her and ask for a ride back to my apartment. For some reason I just felt like it was not the right timing (I was scared), so I did not approach her with the hopes of meeting her in the future. I had never seen her before that night, but over the next few months, I coincidently saw her in all the right places: the gym, the library, class, etc. Now, you may be thinking, "Jack, why didn't you introduce yourself?" To which I say, it still wasn't the right timing (I was still scared). In all seriousness, each situation did not warrant an introduction until February 17th, 2020.

February 17th was the day before our first Business Law exam, a class that was infamous for being incredibly difficult. That morning I woke up early to head to the Business Library for some extra studying. I walked in and headed straight to the third floor, the designated quiet floor. As I walk around, the library is packed with students stressing over tomorrow’s law exam. I am searching for a table, and the only available spot is the one behind her. Now you might be thinking, "Jack is this the part where you started talking to her?".... nope, still scared. Isabella was focused on her work and it was completely silent, so I sat down and started working as well. A couple of hours passed and I noticed that she was also studying for the same test. I then took out my Invisalign to avoid a lisp, turned around to tap her on the shoulder, and said, "Hey, are you studying for the business law exam?" She said yes, and we started some small talk about how difficult this class has been. To wrap up the conversation, I said something along the lines of, “Well hey, I heard it is very beneficial to meet up the morning of the exam and talk it out. If you want to, maybe we can meet up tomorrow at nine?” To my surprise, she was interested, and she showed up the next morning despite my doubts. We then met up every day for the next few weeks to study and get to know each other before I finally asked to take her out on a date! Now four and a half years later, we could not be more excited to be getting married with all of you by our side!
