Izzy, on the other hand, was convinced it was all just a bet. So, she dug in her heels, determined not to let Chris win. It took a while, but Izzy finally came to her senses and realized that maybe, just maybe, Chris genuinely liked her.

The Unexpected Encounter

Their friends, ever the matchmakers, orchestrated a series of "coincidences" to bring them together—one of which was an evening in Chris's neighborhood. That night, their not-so-subtle friends locked them in a basement and serenaded them with off-key piano playing and equally off-key singing. And what was the romantic anthem of choice for middle schoolers? None other than Justin Bieber!

The Midnight Kiss

To put an end to the musical torture, they shared a kiss. As cheesy as it sounds (brace yourself), the clock struck midnight, sparks flew, and the rest, as they say, is history. That magical kiss marked the beginning of something truly special.

The First Date and Beyond

Their first official date was on Memorial Day 2013, where they went to see "The Great Gatsby"—a film set in an era as timeless as their love. Since then, Chris and Izzy have been inseparable.
