It all began during our freshman year at the University of Charleston. We met as two wide-eyed college students, navigating classes, late-night study sessions, and the excitement of a new chapter in life. What started as a simple friendship quickly turned into something deeper—something neither of us could ignore.

Just as our love was growing, life took us in different directions, and we found ourselves facing the challenge of long distance. For three years, we made it work through countless FaceTime calls, weekend visits, and more goodbyes than we’d like to count. Though the miles between us weren’t easy, they only strengthened our love and commitment to each other.

Now, after years of waiting and wishing for the day we wouldn’t have to say goodbye anymore, that day is finally here. We are no longer long-distance, and we can’t wait to start this next chapter—together, side by side.
